This is also correct, and I'll accept some share of the blame here.

In my defense, I'll say that:
A) I wasn't fully familiar with just how awful his posting really was.
B) By the time I was aware that JSmith27 was VMF, he was already pretty active in POG (multiple WW games and a four digit post count) without any issues that I knew about. Since other mods knew about it way before I did, I had assumed that it was okay.

It's not a mistake I'll make again.

point b is the point. he was a 4 digit poster with no current issues that contributed to the community. you knew who he was eventually and accepted that he be allowed to be here

and then with no warning, tempban, anything, he gets banned for posting what may or may not be nonsense, but with no warnings or anything

but a new mod who was chosen because she thinks the r-word is bad but its okay for her lolmen undertitle and to permaban someone for posts she personally doesnt like

You're basically arguing against permabans. Not only that, but you seem to think that someone who has been permabanned and then returns with an alternate account should be subject to the same system of punishments as a genuine new account.

I disagree with that, especially the second part.
