Not sure if this is a rule on 2p2 forum. I was banned in 2016 for posting "conspiracy theories" many of them proven true (epstein island)

and i have been banned again last month for posting about masks being ineffective and the media brainwashing behind covid. I was not given a temp ban or an infraction, but a permanent ban, to silence my voice. I believe politics has a lot to play with the moderator making this decision saying they would bring a "left wing style" to their modding.

Is this a rule to permanently ban people for having thoughts and ideas that are not mainstream? I ask for my ban to be reversed. The mods who enforced it, should also step down.

I will add there are also many doctors and scientists who agree with my position. The ban is being enforced as "spreading dangerous disinformation involving the pandemic". If this rule is to be enforced, many people in the world would not be allowed to post on 2p2. It is not a rule of 2p2. Over 70 Million Americans probably agree with most of my thoughts on that matter. Is 2p2 saying those people who do not buy into media brainwashing are not allowed on their site? That moderators with left wing bias are allowed to ban people for posting thoughts they don't like or agree with?

The green overlords in the politics forum are all left leaning and the modding reflects that. I had my warning so now stay away from the place even though i found it unfair but you can't fight the system and win.

To clarify i don't have a problem that my post was removed and i received a warning. The problem is those same standards are not enforced for people posting from the other side of the spectrum.

Even though I am unambiguously and outspokenly Conservative, I think the current moderation team in the Politics Forum is generally extremely fair. I have been temp-banned and infracted several times, but not based on ideological bias.

I was banned by a Puzzles and others game new mod, who decided they knew more than many doctors and scientists I can cite. The question is does Mat Skylansky support people being banned for wrong thought? Is this a forum wide rule to ban people who think masks might not be the solution to defeating viruses? That the media and tv is involved in trying to form peoples opinions with an agenda?

Sorry for the trauma that a ban in a puzzles forum can inflict. For what it is worth, I have suggested they open up a containment thread where crazies like you can get your freak on (with some common sense rules like no real life threats/racism etc) so that the rest of us can enjoy that show. Voices like yours being silenced is meaningless - your voice has no impact, so why deprive the rest of us the fun of seeing the unlimited possibilities (with again some basic guidelines) of the truly paranoid approach to thinking. The worst thing that can happen to a paranoid person is realizing nobody is watching him, so why should this forum be so cruel. Just promise to toss in some Lizard People stuff if they open a thread, as that never gets enough play here. Thanks!

All the best.

So weird how this keeps happening in every subforum where mods require posters to cite their claims with actual evidence.

Real puzzler.

VMF,
I agree that the mods are doing it wrong. They shouldn't be banning you under the pretense that you broke a rule. They should be declaring, quite correctly, that you are the single worst poster in the history of the entire site, and that they do not need a rule in order to justify banning you. If anything, they should be forced to answer to everyone else as to why they ever let you post on the site at all.

They should stop playing at due process where none is due. Instead, they've ****ed up by giving you minutiae to try to pointlessly litigate. For that reason, they could definitely stand to improve their approach. Thank you for standing up and shining a spotlight on their inefficiency. I'm sure all involved will appreciate the constructive criticism.

I don’t think you should have been banned.

Shitposting has consequences sometimes, although in your case apparently not.

Pro tip: if you want to make a point, normal capitalization and sentences help. You can't even type his name right. It's 3 freaking letters.
