Take it to the "new" politics forum. No further politics posts or complaints allowed in ATF. Politics topics in ATF much like the closed politics forum are done

Imagine how much less **** we would have gone through if y’all started ignoring posts about politics a year ago...

Could you provide more of the context here? My understanding is that 27offsuit has gone...er... a bit off the deep end with the hostility towards former politics forum posters. If I understand properly the screenshot you posted has to do with him containing you in the OOT bad posters thread for some reason? Is that right?

I'm just assuming most readers will have no idea what this is about, hence the attempt to clarify. And it seems useful because I feel like you have a pretty legitimate case that he's acting a bit vindictively for a moderator (although maybe that's just like a thing we do around here, someone else might argue :P)

Someone mentioned the old politics forum in the "Things that shouldn't piss you off but do" thread then someone replied that there is a new and improved politics forum (those posts post are still up).

I replied explaining why the old forum was nuked, some of my thoughts about where the new forum has gone, and I also pointed out that the new "don't complain about politics in ATF" rule came into effect literally right as the new forum was created.

That spawned some discussion, which 27o then deleted and CONTAINED me. Which apparently is basically at his whim and lasts forever? Even though I haven't had an infraction in OOT maybe ever? At least not in a long time.

Fine. I barely post in OOT anymore anyway and I probably deserved it.

Then out of the blue he sent me that PM. That is not in reply to anything I sent to him. Just containing me wasn't enough I guess. He felt the need to troll me in PM too. He's been pretty unhinged for a while now.
