I was only modded in ATF to help out with the users who were stranded. Once I was given full IP check capabilities within the mod panel, I didn't need to be an ATF mod anymore.

Mat only modded me under condition that I didn't delete, infract, or ban anyone in ATF - it was just to give me IP checks in ATF.

Have sort of an on-topic offtopic question

After a TLDR post with arguments debating a case
-If it's followed by "great post" people are way more likely to agree with what was said
-If it's followed by "WTF is this ****, gtfo" the post loses a ton of value

I notice often that some low post count account chimes in with the "QFT", "Finally someone said it right" and it's really effective

I have a tin foil hat on today and IMO people sometimes use gimmicks to validate their own posts.
I'm not that bright anymore but if this is the case I think it should be called out, posts deleted and infracted. The internet is srz bzns

I suspect it happens a lot less often and has less effect than you think it does, but I doubt there's a single mod who would find an IP match of someone that did this and not do something about it. I've caught it a few times, and I call them out every time. Besides being the right thing to do, it's fun!
