I had a post deleted in ATF today.

My standpoint: neutral.

Shortly after I joined 2p2 I had a post in ATF deleted, because it didn't include a picture of a lathe.

I think I had one deleted in ATF a couple of days ago. But I'm not sure. My first assumption is that either I thought about posting it, but never did, or that I typed it but forgot to hit the post button. But it doesn't matter, becasuse even if it were deleted, it just doesn't matter to me. It's just a post on an internet forum, and even though I'm sure it must have been really witty or funny or insightful, and other readers would have enjoyed it, once the moment has passed there's no going back and trying to recreate it. In the great tsunami of internet posts washing over the earth, that one drop won't make any difference.

Which is why I never really understand why some people get so worked up about having their posts deleted in the first place. Even if it's a good one, at best it will hang around page 1 for a while, but ultimately end up in the dust bin of 2+2 archives, only to be rediscovered when someone uses the search function when looking for something unrelated to your post anyway.

But maybe there were a bunch of ATF deletions recently. My guess would be that Mat is on vacation, and asked Rapini and Lattimer to cover for him while he's gone, and it's payback time!

LMAO. Exactly! Getting old is hell. Like when I keep rechecking my cards, people go "you shouldn't check for the flush like that, it's a tell" but I do it every hand to make sure I didn't forget what the hell I have in my hand.

Thanks. Appreciate it. One of the reasons I wasnt sure is that I couldnt remember which thread I posted it in. There is the moderation thread in B&M and then a thread in ATF that came from the B&M thread, and then a couple other mod threads here in ATF, and they all seem to run together. All I could remember was that I was pretty sure plaaynde was in the thread, but that didnt narrow it down any.

I might add also pending a move from BBV to 4L.

I posted in BBV to generate interest, ofc.

I was a little angry yesterday, and I was justified in my anger I may add. I have not particularly calmed down over the course of the evening and the early morning.
