It seems 27offsuit has lost his mind after being called out for being the White Knight of the Las Vegas vloggers thread, and threw a hissy fit and closed the thread.

Does 2+2 offer professional counseling for mods with bruised egos?

27offsuit needs to enter an intensive program for a bruised ego and power tripping.

When I called him out for being a White Knight he threw a hissy fit and whacked me with 99 infraction points.

I gotta assume point 100 is coming any second?

Long story short, 27offsuit needs some professional couch time.

Two Questions:

- Why is a guy who isn’t even located in Las Vegas the only active green mod in the popular Las Vegas forum? Isn’t there anyone more suitable (maybe offer gobbo a pay raise)?

- 2+2 currently seems to be down to only 350-500 visitors at any given time, and most are just guests (like myself: almost never logged in but visiting LVL regularly mainly to read the thread).
Is it really the best idea to lock the Vlog thread which, by such a wide margin, is the most active one in regards to posts and page views within the recent past (e.g. 43k posts vs 7k for 2nd best)?
Imo this will just accelerate the decline in the site usage even more…

To keep things productive and to help us make the right decision, please limit responses to those for or against the thread in question. And please do respond if you have an opinion there.

It is one of the more popular threads, just look at the numbers. It should not be shut down. People joke around sometimes in the thread, its all in good fun.

I am all for re-opening the thread (Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs) and banishing 27offsuit to the island of misfit toys mods.

This is a culmination of the thread going off the rails for the last few months, with the posting regs never once adhering to thread rules or mod requests, which culminated in the thread being closed. Which it had been previously, by gobbo, for the same exact reason. It was actually re-opened at MY REQUEST.

I visit this site to take a break from "reality" and not read rules. I admit, when I find a new thread, I don't automatically read the rules in the OP. In fact, I never do. Usually, I read the previous posts, and once I get a feel of the direction, I MIGHT post. Whether that's a good defense or not, that's just how it is. My apologies.

That being said, we have a problem. You know it and I know it. What I'm hoping is there can be a solution that works for all involved.

1) live poker
2) Vegas live poker
3) opportunity to discuss vlogs of poker
4) opportunity to discuss vlogs of Vegas poker
5) off-chance of discovering different poker and/or Vegas vlogs

I would like the opportunity to continue to do this.

Actually no 2021 accounts would take care of that, like was done before like a year or so ago.

I've already said I'd probably reopen the thread, and noon is gone one way or the other anyway, as he was one of the group I mass-banned a few weeks ago. None learned anything though, and they all just mocked the rules of the thread and pissed all over everything, and I just said you know what? F these clowns I'm just gonna take their 'fun' away. Its intent was to be PUNITIVE. Seems to have gotten some attention, so mission accomplished I guess.

27offsuit reminds me of the Orange colored fellow who recently left DC. When he got caught in a lie, he would simply double down thinking he could alter reality, and sadly it worked on a significant portion of the population.
