Is 2+2 the most negative forum on the internet??? - About the Forums

virtually the whole of 2+2 is negative. it's definitely the most negative forum i've come across on the internet, that's for sure. so in all fairness, i'm not that much different to most other negative posters on here.

What is the nature of the 2+2 forums? Is it the most negative forum on the internet? Or is it a forum for poker players to socialize and help each other? I think the latter. What's your opinion? The quoted text is a PM I received from a poster on this site. Guess who it is...

Well I can’t think Of many reasons to be happy poker mostly online, the last 5 years have brought us bots, collusion, theft, ignorance, cheating, angleshooing, rake increases, segregation, USA ban amoung other things which have led this forum to be pretty negative, but we the people also need somewhere to vent our frustrations

The poker side of 2p2 has definitely dried up. People were more willing and interested in helping others play well in the 2000s. Now with the games so much tighter, helping another player become better cuts down on profit you can make from games and with that profit so small, you can't afford to help anybody but yourself.

Being a pro poker player seems to really suck nowadays. Online poker pro appears to be a really boring and depressing way to make a living.

If I say "no", I am contributing to negativity. But if I say "yes", then I am lying, which also contributes to negativity. OP has forced us into a no-win situation where negativity is guaranteed.
