I call flop raise with A6s from LAG player who is betting literally every flop.

Turn comes a 6 giving me 2 pair. He raises. I decided to re-raise since I don't want the river to go to a flush and kill my action.

He goes all in.

He has Top Pair, Top Kicker and I have 2 pair.

He hits a river King, and I lose.

It's not the worst, but it's definitely too much. These hands are really quite standard; no need to create a thread for every one of them.

In 'Confessions of a Winning Poker Player,' Jack King said, 'Few players recall big pots they have won, strange as it seems, but every player can remember with remarkable accuracy the outstanding tough beats of his career.

The hand I remember the best was one that I won. It was a LHE hand, headsup to the flop, 11 bets on the turn. I had top set, the other guy had one pair. Luckily for me, he didn't hit the river.

I had these hands 4 times (2 of each) in a single orbit (!) vs. a bunch of $1/2 NL donks 2nite. No folds by me PF & all pots were raised PF...and I never won a hand. Mathematically I should have won at least one time. What gives?

See this one time I played a hand and it played out to the river. I just used a raft to set sail and it was smooth sailing. Good day mate
