I feel like a moron Ive been on and off the game for 2 years trying to learn and i actually have some Idea of post flop strategy but nothing helps the bad results or the same stupid mistakes. Atleast now when im paying like an atm machine tilting balls i can stop playing but maybe i just spent 2 years to figure out its a tough as **** game and im bad at it at the moment

Well, if you dont beat NL5 or wtf this **** is, over 10k hands, you prolly do something wrong.

I once played NL25 zoom for some bet.

That is microstakes.

Beat it with I dont know 7-9 bb 100, lost the bet though I said I would beat it >10bb iirc.

Now, NL25 is scifi for you now.

Thats how bad you are in pokar.

But once you become +ev in micros the higher stakes dont get too worse right? I mean you're not bleeding money you got the basics and the card combos are the same in a 10k and a 5 buck game right?

Absolutely, if you succeed to beat NL5 go straight to bank ask for 300k loan to play nosebleeeds

It runs in the family

just do the thing that you were doing during the first 2k hands of play and then definitely dont do the thing that you were doing during hands 3k-6k and you should be on your way to crushing micros. its super easy and most importantly, you already know how because youve already done it

I think my mistakes are:
-playing too many hands and not following a solid preflop game plan
-calling too many raises out of position with a weak range
-3 barreling on bad boards after calling a preflop raise
-betting in position into river checks for pot control
-taking middle flop pairs and weak hands too far transforming them in bluff catchers

-failing to fully recognize board textures and miss betting oportunities or bet in the wrong ones

if your determined to be a winning player i would encourage you to study as much as you can, invest in a membership to a reputable training site. 2+2 cant give you nearly as much as real coaching, its more of a place to socialize than learn (at least nowadays). if you arent ready to pay for anything you should watch content from the famous twitch streamers because thats probably the best free source of solid coaching

the only thing separating you from where you are now, and where you want to be is information.

you might also consider choosing a different variant to play, online NL is a very difficult ecosystem these days...in fact it is probably the hardest ecosystem in poker to succeed in. Live poker, mixed games, PLO, unique variants: there is a lot more room to succeed at these games

This is very common in the beginning stages of micro's.

Look around your table for the fish, if you cant find one, than your probably the fish.

I have seriously asked myself that question from time to time. It works, trust me.
