BRAG: I won $1100 at the Orleans last night playing 1/2NL.

BEAT: Bones had half my action so I had to split it with him.

VARIANCE: This hand:

Insane Maniac (IM, $400) opens to $12 and gets a call from Old Asian Dude (OAD, $120), and Flashy Lagtard (FL, $300). Flop comes:

J

IM leads for $35. OAD pushes. Lagtard over-pushes. So there's $465 in the pot and it's $265 to call for the insane Maniac.

He calls.

Turn - 6

River - 7

Flashy Lagtard turns over black Aces. Old Asian Dude quietly mucks.

Insane Maniac announces, "I have a straight," and turns over....

I've only read about 7 BBV posts so far and most of them had worse calls than these. Even the ones with no poker content.
