The photo is closer to $4.25k since I had a few more chips in my stack before the big hand mentioned in the title. Here's the hand history...
Preflop: I straddle to $6 UTG. One player calls for $6, and MP raises to $30. One call for $30, and I look down at A
K
in the straddle. I bump it up to $160, and just MP calls.
Flop ($360): T
5
4
. I c-bet for $140, and he calls.
Turn ($640): J
. I fake a heart check, and I bet small expecting to get played back at. I've been super aggressive with a run of cards, so I've just been waiting to get played back at, so I make it $200 hoping this player will raise it up. He does just that, making it $700. He's only got another $928, so I push all-in, and we get snap-called. I show my hand, and he shows 8
7
, so we've just got to fade the 9
on the river.
River ($3,896): T
. Ship it!
