i tell when they ask, if they dont believe me, eff it.....sometimes ill downplay it, if i dont the person that well......i got enough friends asking me for drinks/money/water slides......

One guy went on a 10 minute speech about how the bank wouldn't give me a loan if I asked them for one, and that I eventually would loose all my money because a friend of his had lost a lot of money playing poker.

I think a lot of people sees me as unemployed spending a few hours a day on a hobby.

This thread is great.

I always throw out extremely high numbers and go directly into stats analysis of the game. If they haven't gotten sad/confused and stopped talking to me by then I tell them bad beat stories for hours.

I think you all need to spend a small fraction of your bankroll on a sick watch (or somethin' shiny) and to keep your wardrobe updated with some fresh gear.. If people see you lookin' clean and know you don't work, they will know what the [censored] is up..

As for being called a poker addict, I just remind them this addiction is making me money, as opposed to my old addiction: heroin.
