I have QQ in position on a 4bet pot. Lon story short, board comes out 5 6 8 7 9 Villain jams river with AK I call and we split the pot.

.05% chance of splitting the pot but here I am.

Just another case of getting no value from my value hands. Even when I am good I end up in situations where I can’t get much value - like I can never seem to make a straight without a flush draw coming in...

3bet J10o from the button and 3 way flop Comes A K Q rainbow giving me the nut straight.

Villain leads out for 1/2 pot and I call. Turn brings a K with a club draw. Villain leads out again for 1/2 pot, I raise 2.5x he calls.River brings an A thereby double pairing the board Villain checks, I check and he shows KJ for the boat.

So now I can’t win when I flop the nut straight...

Why are you entitled to win every hand? The dude had outs. When you have outs you can win.

You mean the part where I raised with a straight when he had trips? is that the raise you are speaking of?

I mean, you could pay attention here...this isn't about winning every hand. I win lots of hands...as I said, not withstanding all of this I am still winning. It is about losing all of my premium hands - the hands with which I should be making money are killing me.

I just lost another 2 hands 6 hands apart:

Hand 1: call MP open with 44 on the button and BB (50bb effective) comes along. Flop comes 8 - 4 - k rainbow. It checks to me, I bet 1/3 pot, BB calls MP folds. Turns brings a J, UTG leads out for 25% pot, I raise 3x and he calls. River brings a 7 and he bets 1/4 pot and I jam on him. He calls and shows JJ - SET OVER SET from a guy who didn't raise JJ pre....

Hand 2: On the Button with KK, I open to 3bb and SB calls. Flop comes out J 5 9 with a diamond draw. I cbet 30% pot, he 2x raises and I call. Turn brings a 9, he bets 35% pot and I call. He bets something like 1/2 pot on the river and I call - dude has 99 and wins with the set.

So ya, save me the "you dont win every hand crap"

Just in the course of the last 500 hands, I've had QQ vs KK (all-in pre), JJ vs QQ (not all-in), QQ tied by a board straight, the nut straight beaten by a double paired full-house, top-2 by a rivered straight, a set over set, KK to a set, and TPTK (AK) in a 3bet pot to 2 pair (A-10).

So ya, it's not just about losing - its losing with premium hands in big pots.

poker sure is brutal.

I seem to be getting hammered by the biggest fish on the table alot.

I hate to revisit the poker is rigged topic.

But man it sure seems like pokerstars is helping some fish out.
I lost to a mega fish over 5 hours the other day. I just kept having
so much nothing over & over, and the rest of the table is just obilerating
the deck. I manage to hang tough. But he was bluffing 22 on me and rivered
a 2 to set me packing. It took me a good 3 hours to make a few hands.
Hands these guys were making every round like a video game

Screw job of the day:

HJ opens 3, I raise to 10 from mp, Sb 4 bets to 30, Hj folds I call with 99

Flop comes A 10 9 with 2 clubs. Villain bet 6bb I raise to 40he calls. Turn brings J clubs, completing flush draw and KQ straight. I bet 35bb and villain calls. River brings 6 clubs now bringing a 1 putter to a flush. Villain checks, I check, he shows KK with a club for the flush.

200+ bb pot counterfeit by the board. Situation normal - 82% to win on the flop, 78% to win on the turn...This **** has to turn around at some point.

Best hand won it fair and square.

After a long stretch of constantly getting 3bet with AQ, mixing in come calls and 4bets, and missing everything - and coming up against AK 2x when I had AQ and then getting jammed by KK for 75bb when I have AKs, and after I finally get KK in a 3bet pot vs 1010 the flop, of course, comes out A high killing the action, I get dealt AA:

I open to 3bb and get called by CO and BTN (both ~45bb), and BB 3bets to 10bb. I raise to 32bb, CO and BTN fold, and BB calls with about 60bb behind. Flop comes out 10 high, unconnected, unsuited. He donk bets out for 15bb, I jam on him for his final 45 and he calls and shows AA for the split goddamned pot.

This is just unbelievable.

Standard. It’s almost like you’ve never played play money chips before. Quit thinking you’re supposed to win every pot. Especially when you have the same gd hand. How do you expect to win if you hold the same cards as the other person? Let me guess. You are a white person. Amirite?
