So, I was dealt pocket 6's. A third 6 landed on the flop, along with a 2 and a Queen. A few bets are placed, and then one dude raises by going all-in. I call. There's another guy left in the hand who has his cards covered. I don't see him. I turn up my cards revealing my set of 6's. The guy on my left turns up his cards to reveal a set of 2's and lays them down. I double facepalm myself, realizing I just made a horrible blunder. The turn is the 2 of diamonds. This makes a flush for the guy still in the hand but gives me a full house, and thus I win the hand. My horrible blunder ironically ended up saving me a ton of money. The dude on my left obviously would have called had I not shown my cards, and he would have won with quads.

The story happened at a 1/3 games at the casino. There was an old dude and young guy in a pot. On the river, the old dude went all in and the young guy called with AQ TPTK or something and showed. The old dude thought he lost and throw his hand to the dealer to muck it. The young guy said that since he called he wants to see the hand. Everyone thought he was out of line. The dealer turn over the hand and the old dude realized he had a straight lol. The floor manager was called and the pot got shipped to the old dude. I was sitting next to the old dude and gave him a fist pump.

everybody in the thread desperately wants to say something of quality (or at least funny) but they realise they are complete nobodies including me.

So, I was dealt pocket 6's and I called Kato Kaelin a loser and didn't realize he was sitting next to me.

And Kato Kaelin stared at me with a look that could extinguish a thousand suns. So I decided I had to establish dominance and instantly pushed all my chips to the center of the table. To my own surprise this move was so violent that the poker table decided to part ways with one of its legs.

This resulted in a short, but intense fiesta of cards, chips and overpriced cocktails flying through the air of the Folluzio hotel and casino. At that point I decided it was time to get the F out of there. And I started running as fast as my sandals could carry me.
