I think I may have discovered your problem...

do you feel like doing this well somehow justifies all time and money you invested into poker (not trolling just curious)

Good question. For me, showing bluffs was very tilting. But mainly I think you, as a winning player, just needs to remember to keep playing the losing player and not "book a win." Just keep playing and we will keep losing.

Well said. Um, not really. Believe it or not I'm actually trying to be helpful. I wish I never played but, like many things in life, I believe I had to go through this to realize I could not be successful.

I think I am yes. I have tried to quit. Self-exclusion is helpful.

How much money have you lost in your degen career and how many hands?
Why do you think you keep on going busto over and over? What is your leak that leads you to losing in the long run? highest limit you have played playing within your br? How many years have you been playing poker? Do you feel like a loser for not winning?

I think I go busto over and over because I tilt and chase losses. I do this over and over. The only times I have made withdraws are when I go on a heater. I have played as high as 5/10 HU NL. I normally play .25/.50 HU but end up tilting and playing 1/2 HU. I have played about 3 years. Yes, I feel like a loser for not winning. That is why I kept trying to get better and win.

Great thread.
When you are tanking on the river with TPNK facing my 1.5xpot shove, and I type in chat: "nice fold" do you most feel like calling or folding?

Do you like chatty players? Even though I play 9-12 tables I try to respond to fish with "nh", "unlucky" etc. Is it worth my time or should I just focus on setmining?
Should I be nice or mean?

A sarcastic NH works well. I think it's important for you to just chat when a player like me loses the hand not when he wins. I also think you should do things like minraise which will make me think I'm somehow better than you and keep playing.

Thanks. Believe it or not I find work more enjoyable than poker. Poker is not fun when you are losing.

Well said. However, I did watch a lot of videos and read a lot of posts on here. I found it difficult to apply that knowledge in novel situations.
