best hand: This hand will probably always be one of my favourites because it's so funny. I shove 67 on 234A5 board for 300bbs+ (100nl rush ftp) into like 40bb pot praying the ****** has a 6 and will snap me off...ends up calling me to chop LOL (thought I was bluffing and called with like Ax to chop it)

worst hand: was shot taking 2/4 rush NL was pretty deep got AA in bb, i think co open, button and sb flatted, I make biggish squeeze, CO just jams... (over 250bb for both of us i think) I'm obviously 10/10 excited ....However, I know it's too good to be true and he hits a 10 on the turn . I think I lost like 8-10 buy-in's (4kish) in that session and since then my game has never really been the same hahaha (peanuts to most people here but it somehow mentally ****ed me up)

sickest lost: Had been playing on pokerstars for about a year and a half going boom and bust back in the day. Went bust and was looking around my account for how to deposit when I discovered fpp's. In my narrow minded addiction I literally did not know what they were or how to use them so I had amassed quite a few. I end up spending most of them on one tourney to for a WSOP package. Tons of people in the tourney. Many hours later I am chipleader at the final table down to the last 7 (I think two packages were up for grabs) when one of the guys starts losing his mind and open shoving literally every hand. He did this about 7 times in a row and nobody called him. I look down and see KJ and sure enough he open shoves again. I don't know if it is the best move but I decide to call him as I very likely have a better hand. He has the next most chips. He has K10. By now you might have guessed he rivered a 10. He also started typing obscene mess into the chat. This was years ago and at that point I had only ever played $50 buy ins pretty much max unless I was tilting. Being so close to getting a main event package and losing in that way was devastating. But it conforms to a weird rule about poker. Often times the better you play, the more harshly you are punished.

Sickest lost: Set over set, mine higher, and the other guy hitting his one-outer on the river...

Sickest won: Well, funny at least... Live donkament, I had two pair on the river (with KQ I guess) on a kinda straightish board, but had position and was checked to so I was pondering how much a value-bet I should make.
I checked my chips, checked my cards, looked at the board again, and all of a sudden I had a straight! Naturally, I was pretty confused (and also a bit afraid I'm starting to hallucinate or losing it altogether) but didn't want to ask what was going on since that might give it away ("Guys, why do I have a straight now? Where is my Two Pair?”).
Anyway, I bet and got paid off, and…

I have KJ suited. Flop comes 10,Q, brick rainbow. I like my draw and bet. Guy calls. Turn is the ace. Pairs a suit, but not mine. I have the nuts. I bet again. Guy calls. River is a brick ... I have the nuts. I fake tank and then shove. The guy asks me, "What do you have?" I respond, "A flush." and everyone laughs because a flush is impossible. Guy says, "C'mon. Tell me one card." and I paused and said, apparently very convincingly, "I have an ace." He thinks about it, and calls ... I show the nuts and the guy exclaims, "You lied to me!" as he mucks his cards, and we all laughed, I said, "It's against the rules for me to tell you the truth." and someone else said, "Of course he lied to you ... he's a poker player." That guy still hates me to this day.

Worst beat was a NLHE donkament. I'm in a hand against this guy who's like 85 years old, maybe older and I flopped a full house.

I have 5d, 8c in the bb and the flop was 5s, 8s, 8d. He bets, and I put him on a draw ...6,7 or maybe 2 spades .... so I just call. I'm hoping he gets there! Turn is a brick , Kh or something like that. He bets again. I call. River is the 7 of spades ... and I'm thinking "Man, I hope he has like A,x of spades." He moves all in. Well, he had just spiked his one outer. Turns over 6,9 of spades for a straight flush.

This one is even sicker, and cost me more, happened more recently, but I'm not the worst victim of the hand:

I have about $200 in the 9 seat, 2 seat has like $250 and so does the 7 seat. Both players are known bluffers. I'm in middle position.

I have A,5 of spades. 2 seat raises to $7. He does this every hand he wants to play. Sometimes more, but usually $7. 7 seat calls, I call.

Flop comes 2s,4s, 6s. I flopped the nut flush, with a straight flush draw. 7 seat checks, I check, and surprisingly, 2 seat checks. 4d comes on the turn. I don't like the card, but I still have the nut flush and I've played the hand like I have nothing. 7 seat shoves. I put him on A,4 or something ... just trips ... not a boat. I call. Amazingly, 2 seat calls. That I did not expect.

2 seat shows, 4c,2h for a boat. 7 seat shows 4h, 5c for what I figured .... trip fours .... but that was the case friggin four on the turn! I have one out .... the 3 of spades for my sf. Sickest river ever ... since I had the 5s, a 2 outer ... 5h. Seat 7 wins with a bigger boat. I flopped the nuts, preflop raiser with 2,4 hits a 3 outer on the turn, and the guy who shoved with the worst hand, went 1 outer, 2 outer to win the hand.

And then he said, "Yep ... fours full of fives takes it." I wanted to punch him in the face.

Dude on my left had been raising me almost 100% of the times i was in the pot and ICM had been forcing me to lay low with less than premiums bc of this (I was mid of pack 20ish bbs with lots of 5bb stacks). unfortunately this guy was on my direct left since 3 tables table draw just kept Fing me.
Final table of the tournament with 23k for first I have KQ vs his TT and we get it all in on the TURN of a KQJxr board.
I chopped the tourny heads up for 16k each vs someone who is now a good friend of mine.

Final table of million guarantee at west palm in feb.
I raise UTG with 98 and get punished for it when I get 3b, sense it's light and call, then slowplay flopped top pair and he gets there with KQ and I pay it off thinking he has a 'nuts or nothing' type hand.
Was 3rd in chips to start the table busted 8th.

WCOOP main even 5.2k buy in a few years back on pokerstars early on in the tourney.

Turn Q bringing a flush draw. I bet, he raises, I reraise, he ships, I call. He has AA. So sick b/c he had flatted AA on the button, I never go broke on any other turn, and i took my first random shot at a 5k tourney, my previous highest buy in tourney was $215 sunday mil. Quickest 5k I've ever spent.

Back when I first started playing and thought I was good, but wasn't because I thought any flush was the nuts, I went to Ceasers A.C.

$1-2 I bought in for $200. Ran that up to $300 or so. Raised AJo and was called by one player. Hit TPTK (J) on the flop and bet, was called. Turn was a blank, I bet, he calls. River was another jack, which obviously was the nuts to my inexperienced mind and I was thrilled when the other guy called my all-in, to lose to a boat. He told me he was hoping the other jack would hit and left the table. I learned how powerfull a flopped set was that day.

But that was only a prelude. I bought back in for another $200 and ran great for the next 16 hours to triple my stack to $600. My table broke and I went outside and was shocked to find the sun was in the sky, I thought it was like 2am.

Got something to eat on the boardwalk and took my chips back to the poker room. Was at a great table two seats to the left of a maniac with a big stack. While I still didn't know it was good to be to the left of a maniac, I knew the guy was raising big with just about every hand and I could trap him for a big pot if I got lucky. So I waited for about four hours till I had KQd to call his raise. Can't remember the exact flop but it gave me a flush draw, which was obviously the nuts although I didn't know what the word "nuts" ment. Best of all, one of the diamonds was the Ad so I had the best flush draw possible.

Maniac bets big and I smoothly call with my flush draw, so does the girl to my left. Turn was another diamond and I creamed my pants knowing the maniac was going to bet into me. He did, I smoothly act indecisive but reluctently call. Girl calls also and I think that not only am I going to double my $600 stack, but I may TRIPLE it because the girl had a big stack too. Life was great.

River was a blank. Can't recall what it was because I was so thrilled I was going to be rich I didn't even notice. Maniac makes another big bet. I do my best acting like I have a difficult decision and think I probably gave the weakest. "Sigh. My hand is good but I think you have me beat but shoving the rest of my stack in is the only thing I can really do here." and do so. Girl snap calls. Maniac kind of shrugs and pushes the chips out to call me with a "whatever, it is only money." look on his face. I felt giddy as I was mentally spending the $1800 as he called.

I vividly remember the guy across the table saying "She's got the nuts." and knowing that ment she had me beat but couldn't understand how. I knew the full house thing because I had learned that lesson a few hours earlier and there was no pair on the board. I had whatever the nuts were because I had the Kd and the ace was on the board, nothing could beat me although I had a sick feeling I was missing something.

Maniac turns over I don't remember what because all I cared about was seeing what the girl had that could be better than my flush. I flip over my KQd. Girl turns over 24d.

Board was Ad3d5d and whatever other cards that didn't matter. After playing for 20 hours and mentally spending the massive $1800 pot I was just going to win, I was going home with just enough money to cover the tolls because some idiot girl called a big raise with 2d4d and hit a straight flush. I remember the exhaustion setting in as I got on the New Jersey turnpike heading home.

I once played my sisters best friend (10yearsyounger) heads up and stakes were if I won she had to give me a massage and vice versa if she won . Yeah I lost butnaaaah. Stupid girls so I thought until I later found she was a raging nympho so I guess I was played like a fiddle.

This thread has made me realize I haven't really had any particulary sick wins or losses. I've been on both ends of standard set-over-set spots, runner runner flushes, etc. Lost with a FH vs. quads playing Rush PLO 3 times in one hour. But that's about it.
