I read the whole thread and I am very impressed by veganmav's choice of life but also bewaring dignity in light of those stupid attacks by some, good to see not all are as primitive.
How are you veganmav? How is life, hope all is well with you and you could get some of your locked money (not sure where your funds are frozen)?
Are you in China at the moment?
I thought of this documentary
We Feed the World! while reading, which could shed some more light for some on the topic of food, waste of food and why hunger is not a natural rule but a symptom of ever increasing greed of a system few dare to question like OP.
For example, did you know a town of 1.7 million inhabitants wastes daily bread which would suffice for a town of 300,000?

Unfortunately original in German with subtitles in English, but hey, a brilliant docu for free I can promise which will not only give you plenty of free food for thought (See play of words?) but also images you might never get out of your head.
Do you know it veganmav and in case what is your opinion on it?
Quote:
WE FEED THE WORLD is a film by Austrian filmmaker Erwin Wagenhofer about food and globalisation, fishermen and farmers, long-distance lorry drivers and high-powered corporate executives, the flow of goods and cash flow--a film about scarcity amid plenty. With its unforgettable images, the film provides insight into the production of our food and answers the question what world hunger has to do with us .
Interviewed are not only fishermen, farmers, agronomists, biologists and the UN's Jean Ziegler, but also the director of production at Pioneer, the world's largest seed company, as well as Peter Brabeck, Chairman and CEO of Nestlé International, the largest food company in the world.
