I have AJ in the small blind.

Blinds are 10/20 its a few hands in.

Button raises to 65....I call in the SB...BB folds

Flop: A82

I bet out $150....Villain raises to $451....I flat.

I am a little concerned I am up against AK or AQ...but with the nut flush draw...I start to hear the showtunes in my head.

Turn: J

Now the showtunes start to get louder...as I have top two and AK and AQ are in jail.....not to mention the nut flush draw.

I lead for $1352...Villain repops it to $2704...hmm ...well I am never folding top two and the nut flush draw here....so I shove for a total of $4444...Villain Snaps.

River: 9

Final Board: A82J9

Villain shows: 88 for the flopped set.

Even up against the flopped set....I pretty much have 30% equity throughout the hand...and once the turn hits ...I am never folding.

Ended up getting back to about 2K from 400 chips (starting stack was 5K)...then lost a flip with AK soooted

I know it sucks but what can you do? Gotta lose that money.
