I know you guys love seeing interesting hand histories from these kinds of sessions, so I'll share the last big hand from the session.
I'm dealt 8

sitting in SB. UTG straddles, 3 players call, I call, BB calls. 6 players, $42 pot. I check dark.
Flop is 3

. I flop a flush, but unfortunately it checks all the way around. Hoping not to see another spade unless it is the...

on the turn! I've got the stone cold nuts with a straight flush! The pot is pretty small though, so I lead with a small bet to see if I can't get some money in there. I throw out $10, and just the UTG+1 player calls. Pot's now $62
River is an inconsequential K
. I lead a little bigger now, making it $30. My opponent very quickly raises (!!!) to $75. I'm putting him on exactly the Ks at this point. He's got about $475 behind still, and I've got him covered by a lot. This is such a rare spot, I decide **** it -- I just shove all-in and hope he calls. More than a minute passes before he settles on a...CALL! I pick up a massive $1,157 pot, which is like 6 buy-ins at $1/2.
This was the second biggest pot I won this session. Shameless self-promotion -- if you want to see the biggest pot (and others from the session), I've actually got a
new poker vlog detailing this huge win that I just published.
