She didn't even say one word or ever sit down, there were extra chairs sitting around but no one even offered her one lol. How could you just want to sit there like that I would at least want to walk around or something and how does he just expect her to watch him so long??
Now that's what we call pussy control !

My girlfriend has tried this, and I won't have it. I actually had to argue her into playing 2/4 with my money (she refused to play slots, again with my money). She was very intimidated by the casino atmosphere.

Perhaps, but maybe I'm too busy looking at other people's expressions when they look at their cards.

...

I can't stand when someone sucks out and then rubs it in. Had this happen to me three times at Caesar's Windsor in the space of two hours. Apart from the three lost buy-ins, that was just... no. I haven't been back since. I left swearing I'd "never play poker again". Obviously, I was back within a month, but that's another story...

Supernits that use cardprotectors, sunglasses, hoody, loool. Like seriously. Your playing 1-2 and you suck
I played 1-2 with this guy. Everytime he played a hand he would pause, put a card protector on his hand, wear sunglasses, put hoody on, and he just folded to cbets after staring down for 30secs and faking like he was going to C/R to try to get a reaction out of me.
You sure his name wasn't Chris "Jesus" Ferguson?

I LMAO at all the fishy regulars who collectively let out gasps of anticipation and start talking about the BBJ possibilities on the board. Yeah, it's a 4-bet pot, and we're all looking at 8865, but that 97 and pocket 8's just might be out there!

This is the absolute stone-cold number-one way to put people on super aggro money tilt. A "haha I love it when I beat pocket aces, you got outplayed" and a brief affirmation that you made a good play calling with 78 because the flop came 456 ("OBVIOUSLY it was a good call preflop because I got a straight, wtf how can it be a bad call I won like $200 didn't I?") will send their blood pressure through the roof (and their standard of play through the floor).

Seems you have just described the meaning of implied odds. So you raise pre to like $10 w/ AA and so called fish calls w/ 78 and board comes 456 and stacks you!!! Hmm, who's the fish?

The dealer who decides to only deal it once when you are all in at 25/50 NL 3 handed with top 2 agaist fish that has agreed to always deal it twice. Of course it comes running Js and he scoops.

Giving good implied odds doesn't usually do anything to lessen the anger of the guy who got his aces cracked by your 78 and then got mocked for losing by somebody acting like a total fish. The point isn't the specific hand, the point is putting people on tilt.

(Plus, if I had AA in a live 1/2 game I'd make it rather more than $10 so that loose donks with 78 wouldn't have good implied odds, but that's beside the point.)

Got dealt KK from the BB, 3 limpers - I raised pre and got audible groans. (oh come on friendly game kind of crap) All 3 have the "whatever" look on their faces and toss in another chip. I hit a set on the flop and bet - only one caller.

This guy is an old, like should be dead kinda old looking asian with a huge smirk on his face. I'm hoping he also caught a set. Turn is blank, I bet he calls. River is a third spade. I bet, he calls. He gets this smug ass look and announces to the whole table that he never looked at his hole cards. Middle-aged woman next to him (stereotype tourist looking fish to a t, fannypack) thinks it's a god damn riot. I table my set.

He then stands up like hes a friggin game show host and goes "Alright, let's see what we got here!" Starts to flip his cards over ONE AT A TIME (which puts me on insta-tilt anyway no matter what the situation). The first one is a spade, obviously. He looks at me and says "You think I got it?" Meanwhile the dealer isn't doing a damn thing about it. 2nd card is obv. a spade and he scoops the pot.

The woman I mentioned earlier is laughing her ass off, and decides to try the same "don't look at your cards" strategy for the next couple hands. The asian is explaining to her that he loves to play blind because "people are scared to bet into you, you could have anything!"
hahahahaha gold love 1/2 poker

bring lots of BI's imo

2+2'ers (yes, twice now, different guys) who are berating the fish to me with the lingo they picked up on this board.

I am assuming you mean that in the, "and you are shocked?" sense, eh

I used to read it a lot more long ago, now I just tend to browse around for funny things like this tread

Haven't read all the posts so I don't know if this has been mentionned:

When you're in a pot (or just watching) and a player who is clearly acting that they're agonising over a decision for the longest time, then they minraise.

When I'm in a hand with a fish who acts all distressed on the river and then min-raises, I just start punching everything within arms reach of me.

And the way to get me completely super tilted: Call for a setup because you have been dealt too many bad cards lately and everyone has to wait 20 ****ing minutes to play another hand.
A couple weeks ago I was playing 1/2 nl and for some reason jacks and fours kept coming out. Super nitty girl goes "what's up with the jacks and fours?" Worst player in the entire building replies "cuz Michael's dead."

Not that funny but I loled.
