Yes, this!
There was some d-bag at our table who at first acted like a total newb (must've been an act) but half an hour in, he just starts commenting on every single ****ing play; I had QQ in UTG, raised to 8BB's, folds around to him in BTN, he looks angry and says "YEAH...HOW ARE THOSE ACES, MATE?" and folds.

Was so close to showing him my queens, just to show him he's wrong, but would've been a big mistake.

He's going to really dirty his undies when he plays someone like me. If I see face cards? Raise. Suited? Raise. Two cards with numbers? Raise. A 6xo? Raise. A 92o? Raise. AA? Limp. LOL just kidding. Raise.

I went back a little later on that day to play some other games. I saw her smoking and she bitched me out for the way I played the hand. "If you keep playing poker like that you're gonna run into the wrong rich person."

I was like "Pffffffffft. Don't tell me how to play poker lady, you had 13 percent, you won. Have fun buying a belt with my money."
Any chance this was a 400 piece of garbage at presque isle? I only asked cuz my friend was playin the 1/3 over there n got it in wit 55 vs 27 postflop on a 235 flop(i know story sounds unbelievable already cuz of the hands involved but this happened) cuz dude "thought he had nothin" n goes running 7s. So my friend takes about as nasty a beat as possible and this aforementioned probable walmart hall of famer goes on to say thats what u get for thinkin u r the best. So shes not in the hand just felt the need to let this gem out n my friend stands up gets his things together n whips this biscuit he was eating at the loudmouthed whale, then books it out the poker room down the stairs n out some exit in the restaurant to the parking lot and was home free. I wasnt there but hes capable n not the type to make this up. The exact hands mayb but not the biscuit part. I did go back to the casino with him about 2 months after it happened n he goes thats her n got up n we left. Man this story sounds like bull**** replayin it but its legit

I'm so ****ing sick of seeing when guys (usually a 20yo 'pro' with sunglasses on who also enjoys table coaching) whose turn it is to check cannot just tap the table or say 'check' out loud or something totally uncool like that but instead have to do this ****ing gay finger/hand twirl thing where they end up pointing to the next guy and that is meant to signify them checking. Half the time no-one knows if they have checked or not and the dealer has to ask them what they did anyway.

Usually it's the same guy table coaching with his wrong advice (they are usually pretty off but still gives the big fish the impression that there is much more to poker than they know about ....) about merging hand ranges and talking forever about his awesome fold cause the guy 'had to have the flush there', which pisses me off about equally.

when people get pissed at me for shoving 3 hands in a row in a tourney with 9, 12, 15, bbs.

also hate this line, but chuckle in my mind everytime I hear it.

"I know you shoved on me cuz you think I got nothing" guy folds, "I'm calling you next time you can bet your a$$ on that"

Everytime I went to Commerce and I'd have to use the bathroom I'd see an Asian washing their face in the sink or practically bathing themselves in it. Don't get it.

damn near 1300 posts and nobody, NOBODY, has mentioned people picking their nose. has no one seen this? I dont play live so ive never run into it.

Yes picking your nose is a terrible habit. Hygiene is so bad... also when you go to the bathroom and walk out with another player who doesn't wash his hands and sits down at the table next to you. better than on my table i suppose

Been mentioned a gadzillion times, but....dammit, if you get to showdown on the river just flip over your goddamn cards. If you didn't want to show your ridiculous bluff with 94o, don't ****ing bluff a K-high board.

How did this thread die out.

Allow me:

- People that call sets trips and trips sets.
- People that beat the other person to the pot on an all in bet and then show lack of confidence. Eg:

Player 1: I'm all in (for $80)
Player 2: Slides in chips at lightning speed and then go "I think he got me"

Old men playing tighter than a nun. They take 2 mins to call on the river vs an all-in with the nuts or second nuts just because they take forever to work out that they actually have the nuts!

Some dude the other night took a minute to call a flop bet, another minute to call a turn bet and 2 mins to call the river all-in when he had Quads!

We're all like wtf dude?

He's like 'sorry i was just making sure i had the best hand'

I was playing 2/2 NL awhile back and your typical sunglasses wearing dbag sits down. Plays a few hands, then leaves and walks around for 20 minutes or w/e comes back plays a few more hands then goes for another stroll.

The third time he sits down he's talking on his phone so the dealer doesn't deal him a hand. As soon as he sees she skipped him he's like wtf. The dealer said, " I'm sorry sir, I can't deal you a hand when you're on the phone, its the rules."

Guy goes ape**** telling his friend on the phone what happened. He's like she sees me sitting right here, its f'in bs I don't get a hand. I can't believe some people, blah blah blah. He continues to talk **** about her for the next few mins.

I normally don't get tilted playing live, but this guy deserved to get his teeth kicked in for how he treated that poor girl.

I take that back about not being tilted playing live. At one particular home game, there's this guy shanano (I think thats how you spell it) who stumbles in and always does his patented 50$ blind all in first hand. Most times he loses and buys in for another 50 or 100.

What tilts me about having him at the table is he takes sooooo long on each and every action. We all know he is going to call with his 5 high anyway, but he makes sure to take his sweet ass time on every street. His blind shove is the only time it takes him 2 secs to act.

When he's running hot the night is full of lulz. The guy doesn't know he's allowed to fold and plays every hand, floats every flop and will hit running 2 pair or trips, and they're good most of the time.

It's pretty hilarious to see him roll over 85o on a AK958 board and scoop the pot. After calling pretty heavy betting on flop/turn and beating AQ or something.

He will build up a big stack then dump it right back and reload several times throughout the night. Everyone would love him if he didn't take 15 mins to play a single hand.

He actually got pissed at me one night because he refused to turn over his hand. Even though he was holding them up and looking at them, I was to his right and could see he had A7 high. I was the short stack and had AK with a K on board and the side pot was between him and this guy ryan. Ryan tabled his 66 which was good, but shanano sat there looking at his A7 and making ryan sweat the side pot. I finally told the dealer he has Ace high ryan wins the side pot, I get the main.

Personally i would prefer to see people washing as opposed to not.

People that make me tilt are those guys that have been sitting there for 8 hours and their sweat stinks.

I can't concentrate and normally make a really loose all-in call or push just to get the hell outta there

There was ***** idiot sitting to my left the other day that tilted the crap out of me for sighing non stop..

He would sigh when he loses a pot, sigh when he wins a pot because he thought he did not get value, sigh when he has the nuts to give a reverse tell, sigh when he folded his 59suited preflop, sigh when he has a turn decision to call a pot sized bet with his gut shot straight draw, sigh when he hits his miracle gutter and so on...

Would have given his whiny face a tight slap if I could without repercussions.
