Saying "Hast des Flush, gell? Reicht aber net..." ( ~"Got a flush, huh? Not enough...") after raising with the 2nd-nut-boat on the river and getting called in a spot where it would have been correct to not jam underfulls being tons of BB deep and there was really no reason to assume "Flush, gell?"-guy would be bluffing/raising worse for value.

zomg so much stuff.

people who hide their cards behind their stacks of chips so you can't tell if they're in the hand.

other regs who share their reads/history on you from a hand a few weeks ago (no matter how wrong the read is) with a table full of randoms.

being stuck in a pot with 2-3 guys who are best buds and force you out so they can check it down.

when you're HU with someone and they start polling their friends at the table about what they should do. if you're not in the hand stfu if i don't win this pot i am calling the floor over.

people who think a 2/3rds pot/PSB is huge in NLHE. people who bet the same amount every street without trying to blockbet.

sitting down at a table and having someone who recognizes me announce "wow this guy is so tight, he only plays aces" or "this guy is so loose he plays such garbage...make sure your aces don't get cracked". this is information it took you 5 hours and a hundred dollars in rake to get, don't share it with everyone for free wtf. and you only saw 2-3 hands max from my whole session.

this. or like people who buyin short, play an 85/5 game, and fold every river even if they're getting like 5:1 on a call cause they don't want to bust and have to leave the casino and they're too poor to rebuy.

Today at a live tournament, this chick said "thank you" after every single pot that she won.

Stole the blinds, "thank you"
Re-steal took it down, "thank you" - looking at the guy in the eyes.

I didn't want to show tilt and I wasn't playing many hands so I stayed friendly.

Finally after I lose a big pot and down to an M of about 4, I had to shove UTG, JTo. Everyone folds except her in the BB. It was also for most of her chips. She asks me how much and starts counting one unit at a time. I tell her how much it was and she finally says "I'm calling" after someone told her she can call it verbally.

I open my JTo and she goes "thank you".

Board runs T2xx2. "sorry, good night" and then she says "thank you" to the dealer.

One guy pointed out that she's been saying that to everyone all night. And I confirmed that it's the "thank you" that she's been saying after every pot. I asked her if she was new, she said she's played a few. Then I asked her if she knew how extremely rude it was to say "thank you" or even "sorry" after taking someone's money in a competitive game as Poker. She didn't seem to have a clue.

Either she was trying really hard to tilt other players, or she was trying really hard to show that she was a overly-polite snob who think she'll end up with everyone's money and compensating for it by showing over-politeness (level over level). I shook everyone's hands except hers before leaving.

Anyways the table began to hate that fat ugly c'unt. It's not like I had any other play. Just a bit tilted that I had to yet again get horror-called down by THE worst calling hand in Hold'em, get 2-outtered on the river and then had it rubbed in. Most people wouldn't say anything about someone's etiquette, especially if it was a girl unless someone points it out. And I put a target on her before leaving. That was as good as cashing for me.

In a tourney:

MP1: Limp
MP2: Limp
MP3: Raise to 3BB
Me: Re-raise to 7.5BB with KK
MP1: Flat the 7.5BB
MP2: Also flat 7.5BB
MP3: Fold

Flop: J-9-x
MP1 checks, MP2 checks, I bet 11.5 BB and over half of my stack, MP1 flats (leaving herself with 2.5BB behind), MP2 calls and is all in, MP1 shoves out of turn, I put the rest of my chips in.

MP1 stares at me with snake eyes showing the AA.
MP2 has T9

Turn: 7
River: 8

Never felt so satisfied after losing a pot. Would have lost my mind if MP1 ended up with all those chips. Worst thing is she actually felt like a genius for her 4 passive and one out-of-turn actions with Aces.

People who make hideous calls preflop, end up winning the hand, act really cocky and think they are really good.

Example:

1/2

UTG limps with 96s, MP raises to $12, SB re-raises to $35 with AA. UTG calls $35 with 96 and flop is K96, and stacks the AA's.

LOL i hear where you are coming from OP.

The first 2 I cannot agree with more.

One time playing the 110BI at Hustler LA and the table was actually pretty cool to start.

Then this schmuck sits down in seat 9. Old, a bit overweight, too much jewelry, poor taste, smhmucky sunglasses, short in stature.

EVERY hand was like a life decision for him. Tank for 30secs or more, fold. Tank, fold. Tank, fold.

People, if you don't have a hand and aren't on some 3barrell bluff, G T F O. Seriously wanted to say something to this guy but kept my mouth shut.

But on those nights when a stranger makes the mistake of sitting at our table, we know that add-on to our house is going to get built tonight. These guys come in after having read all sorts of books and reading internet forums and you can see it in their eyes they are fish out of water. They are about to get a poker lesson, they just don't know it yet.

We all change our play to accomodate this customer by pretending to get upset when this guy raises our limps and we fold a hand or three. Two of us make it a point to discuss strategy and we make sure to use faulty logic when we do. You can see it in the fish's eyes that he thinks he's going to be taking this game down real easy like. We purposely play slow and make sure to count out our chips carefully after saying we will call.

But each one of our little plays sends him a little closer to the edge and then one of us will lower the boom on him. The customer will make a pretty big raise to our limping and keeping up the act of pretending to be upset one of us will suddenly go over the top and watch the guy's eyes light up and shoves all his chips in with his pocket aces.

The key here to have a hand that can flop a draw and eventually hit. 5-8 or 4-6 is the best hand for this. You might think this is a -ev play but the reality is each time we pull this move we're freerolling from all those times our reraise gets the self righteous goof to fold his A-J or stone bluff.

When we hit our straight it's priceless because we know all of our little plays have tilted this goofy internet player. All we have to do is the literally hundreds of innocent little things that put these arrogant twits on tilt. There's not much so satisfying as watching our customer storm away from the table muttering something about 2 and 2 or whatever it is.

He'll be back though, he thinks we're terrible players. All three of us war buddies have banked thousands of these donkey's dollars and all he has to show for it is the opportunity to post his whining on internet forums and some even mention the name of our casino and sends us more customers... Thanks guys. One guy comes to see us at least once a month. I think he's either getting used to us, or he's sweet on Mable the dealer. She's a nice lady amd when she remembers to put in her dentures she is even quite comely. He's good for at least 5 buy ins a night, but lately we've been taking it easy on him so he doesn't get too frustrated.

I tell you, there's not much so satisfying as watching yet another of the endless line of unsuspecting nits who sit with us and go tilt SOOOOOO easily after we play him like a well tuned violin.

So you all come on down and sit with us any time you want, ya bunch of ATM machines.
This has to be by far one of the dumbest things I have ever read on the 2p2 forums. Kill yourself please.

Yes I think that is extremely uncalled for. I will tip when I want, and I usually tip pretty damn good.

The only time it has happened to me is the Mirage in Vegas. She made some snarky remark and the other drunk fukc5 at the table supported her! Tf?

True. A couple of months ago I was playing 1-2 live in Montreal and flopped a small flush. Villain flopped the nut flush. He c/c the flop and then c/r the blank turn. He was 100 BB deep so I there was no way I was ever folding a flush against some random moron in a 1-2 game. I shipped the turn he snap called. He then asked me once the meaningless river was turned off and pot shipped to him, all extatic "what did you think I had when I c/r the turn man !?". STFO ****** AND ENJOY BEING ON THE GOOD END OF A COOLER

Dude, read back how much I have put in the pot already and the size of the pot by the river. After I bet $300, I had $400 left. I did it for value. Worst thing is he says if I shove riv he folds. Was a good time to turn my hand into a bluff to get JJ out. Never could have put him on QQ.

Getting owned? He had no idea what he was doing. He completes the SB with QQ with several limpers. Only my luck the board will come all unders and pair the bottom card. Now I beat 89.

-When someone over-raises with JJ, picks up the blinds and says "I hate Jacks". Are you ****ing kidding me? JJ is one of the best hands you can get in Poker! It's probably the only non-fist-pump-PF-shove hand you can turn into Aces.

If you flop babies, you know your overpair is good because AA-QQ would reraise PF 95% of the time. You also know that if you flop a set, you have the virtual nuts AND will get paid off much better than flopping a set of Aces.

The hands I hate the most are AA and KK.

AA because I never get any action with them or if I do it's usually by a ****ty hand that makes two pairs+.

KK because it magically turns the middle ****ing card of the flop into an Ace (if it's not the middle card the Kings are still good tho).

QQ can only get you in trouble preflop. I don't see how else otherwise.
