when a player wins a hand and feels it necessary to stand up and do a fist pump or slap his boys hand thats sweating him. i have literally won 20k+ pots and not even let a smirk out. etiquette is pretty dead.

also, people who eat food with their hands at the table. a fork and knife go a long way....

*they're.. But well played correcting someone's error only to commit one yourself.

Also, what tilts me is people throwing out poker jargon as if it makes them better.

Example: I'm playing 1/2 NL and after my turn bet gets my opponent to fold this kid commentates, "he was looking a little too comfortable with a value bet there. If he was bluffing he would've bet more."

Spoiler:
I was semi-bluffing

I think it's gross that people are even willing to eat food with their hands after touching chips- I have a pseudo-phobia of that and will even eat burgers/sandwiches with fork and knife at the table bc of it...

Dunno if posted already, but whatever:
- People who use poker terms without knowing what they mean
- People who scream and laugh very loud. Had a guy at a table in a live sng who was talking to everyone really loudly (at least if he was funny a bit) and had the most tilting laugh i've ever heard.
- People who show the losing hand after you already shown the winning one and are shocked that they didnt win.
- People who make ridiculous bets/raises (Phil Ruffin style)

Not sure if anyone had posted something similar in this thread.

Berating fish and chasing them away.

There was this "pro" grinding 1/2 at my casino and there was this mega whale who bought in deep. Everyone was happy as the whale was slowly moving chips to the rest of the table and lost 120 BB already.

"Pro" raises with AK and whale obviously calls with A3. Flop was came an A and it was value town all the way to river where a 3 fell. Whale reraises, "Pro" repops, and whale calls.

"Pro" goes on uber tilt and starts berating the whale and calls him dumb for calling to river. But wait, didnt "pro" want him to call in the first place?

A verbal fight starts and no one can play for a good 10 mins. Whale then packs up and walks off (he is now green following that big hand) with "pro" money just to spite him.

Needless to say, the rest of the table was not too happy.

this has to be the most tilting thing, recently the term "thin value" is the buzz word at my local casino, every single pot you will hear someone saying it

Live MTT final table. Ignorant little nits folding every single hand including their blinds, sitting on 3 BB or less. How did they possibly get there?

Bonus points: When a "pro" folds his BB/SB to the short-stack's min raise all in, getting 5 to 1 odds with antes and the short-stack pretty much doubles up uncontested and goes on another 2 orbits sitting on his/her stack. You ask the pro what was he thinking folding for 5 to 1 odds with a chance to knock a player out and he goes on to talk about how bad his hand was.

He won't have any trouble snapping off your 4bet shove with pocket 5's because "he thinks you're bluffing" with still 2 tiny stacks at the table and a huge prize money jump.

(Brag: Knocked him out )

I have the same fear. Ever notice how "grimy" ur hands feel after a few hours of live play? Those chips are like petri dishes, just full of germs.

Wrap ur burger in a napkin if you eat at the table. It's easier than a knife/fork imo.

I don't use a napkin, I use two pieces of cheese as my napkin and grab the burger meat inside with them. If any fat drips on the felt (from squeezing the cheese too tightly) I mop it up with a bun.

LMAO!!!!!!

theres so many guys like this at my casino, this one guy tilts super easy and is a hardcore degen, and whenever a 3rd flush card comes on the river his upper lip and eye start twitching hardcore! he starts breathing heavy and always folds no matter what. someone will bet and he will lay down a set of aces face up. obviously most of the time no one has the flush anyway... its hilarity to watch lol

I was at the casino recently and the guy 2 seats to my right was obese and smelled like he hadnt showered in forever, and you could tell everyone at the table could notice. As soon as he busted they had to ask what seat he was in so they could spray it with Lysol

People who play laughably bad. Like when there are 7 limpers and the button still limps with AA or KK trying to trap 8 people.

Or when a old nit flops the nuts and he check it all the way to the river then bets 1/4 pot for value.

People who never semi bluff. Like they will raise preflop with JhTh and the flop will be 8h9h2c and they will check because they only have jack high. Even tho they have an open ended straight draw, flush draw, straight flush draw, and 2 over cards.

Also people that are not in the hand, who ask the dealer to turn over your cards even tho you mucked face down and don't have to show because you are last to act.

not sure if this was mentioned but one thing that leads to possible tilt is when you order a water or etc and you can't even see the middle of the table b/c of all the chips in there, you are sitting there acting all still and the cocktail waitress stands behind you says "water sir, here's your water". SU and wait for the hand to end!!

One thing I hate is when guys stack their chips in stacks of 10.

Looks so ridiculous.

yea i cant stand that, and guys who count out their $80 call $10 at a time and then end up folding

people when someone makes a big bet 100% committing them to them pot, and their opponent goes all in for like $15 more... "how much is the" and they tank wether to call or not!

People who instead of just saying all-in they ask their opponent how much is left in his $27 stack, then they count out $27 exactly and say I put you all in... so tilting!
