I used to hate this too, but then i realized that both of the regulars that do it at my cardroom have this tell: Whenever they go all-in with a made-hand they put all their chips in, including the 1s. When they go all-in as a bluff or with a draw they don't. Now i don't complain anymore.

Off course that doesn't help me when they call all-in, but i think overall i profited more from it than they did.

FWIW i still think it's a douche move and i hate that the dealers don't do anything about it by themselves.

At a game where every time you raise 6x-7x you get at least 5+ callers, you now have the AA, raise to $35 and the old lady to your immediate right goes all in for $60. Everyone folds because they don't wanna call and have the betting re-opened to you. Board runs out something like ATTQJ, 3 of the same suit. You make $67 instead of potentially $1500.

The one thing that tilts me the most is when someone criticizes the way I play, especially immediately after the hand is over. I just can't stand it.

About a week ago I make a really thin value bet on the river with aces on a wet board against a mega fish and he happened to flip over a better hand and the guy to my left immediately says "why'd you bet dude?!" I wanted to say shut the hell up! But I didn't say anything and I usually don't unless someone does it a lot.

Actually this is the part about live play that I like the most. When someone criticizes your play, they're giving away valuable information about how they think and how they play. You should pay attention next time someone talks.

"Wow you actually called the flop with pocket Queens with a King out?", okay.. from here on I will mercilessly push you off your pocket everytime there is a high card on the flop.

This is the reason I always like let everyone think I am a big gambler-donk and when I have the goods, they will passively pay me off. And when they play back at me, I just know they have a monster because they don't think I know how to fold.

Or asks what you had when they've just won a pot from you.

Players that use phrases like 'pot odds' and 'fold equity' without having the faintest idea what it means.

Player calls you on the river, it's a K high board and he shows QQ and wins. Then says ''I thought you had the King''

Why the **** did you call then???

Yea this is the only thing that tilts me at a table. Whenever someone asks for a wash I berate them ( I know I shouldn't but I absolutely cannot stand it!)

A.) When people ask for a wash because they aren't getting good cards. So you are a grown adult and you actually believe that if the dealer shuffles the cards himself you will get pocket aces??? Die

B.) When people ask for a wash because the flop was J,J,J... So your a grown adult and you believe that the odds of three of a kind flopping are so astronomically impossible that the automatic shuffler is cheating you??? Die

Whenever someone asks for a wash I immediately in an aggressive tone ask who asked for a wash and I stare at them. Then I further berate them by asking them how their strategy works? So if u are card dead all you have to do is ask for a wash and you will get good cards? How does this strategy work, please explain.

So tilting.

players who just sit down and get less than one orbit in and complain when they fold about how they aren't getting any cards.

Tiffany Michelle at the '08 WSOP must have been tilting to play with. I loved how Phillips made her exit ungraceful.

This. One guy sits down, talks about his "favorite dealer" and then goes on to say things like "she's not nice to me today" or "man you won't believe the cards that I'm getting", giggles and next hand giggles some more and asks the dealer to put his cards aside to show us what he's been getting "all day" and I'm like dude you've only been here 4 hands. "I know eh and all 4 hands I got nothing but ten-three and five-two", lol bitch please.

Yep I don't get why you don't have to show when all in in a cash game. Whatever.

What annoys me is when someone keeps raising 95% of the effective stacks instead of shoving so that you have to be the last one to raise and showdown first.

Yeah that used to annoy be the raising 95% until I witnessed the most hillariously bad play i've ever seen. It was a 10p/25p cash game at a pub, and some non drunk young man would buy in for £20. He kept raising it preflop so he had a single 25p chip left in his stack, and when the flop came and someone bet 25p into the ~£40 pot he would go into the tank and fold.

Did it about 3 times. Buy in for £20, get to the flop with 25p or 50p left, tank and fold. No one else seemed to notice I couldn't control myself I was laughing so hard. Easiest cash game ever. We also rabbit hunted the turn and river and sometimes he would throw his arms up in frustration "OH I WOULD OF HIT". I was pretty amazed. I am 100% sure this was not collusion as I play with them regularly. That night idk wtf was going on. It was funny as hell though.

Now whenever someone raises 95%+ I just pray they do the same thing for the lols.

I LOL'd soooo loud! This!!!! Also, the stand off for who shows down first. There are rules...last to bet, moron, show it down, and let's play!

Here's a good one for fun and keep the fish loving the casino experience on a Friday / Saturday night:

If you've called a 3-bet preflop and you're expecting this pot could get pretty big, try this:

Call the 3-bet then put your hands over your face like you're dreading the flop... remember to leave very small gaps so you can see the middle of the table. Sneakily watch the dealer spread the J73 flop and groan and say "urrrrgggghhhhhh...... there aren't any 7s or 3s on that board are there?"

lol, gets a laugh every time, cheers people up and confuses the 3-bettor
Genius!

Nothing tilts me more than people that delay the game.

That includes people that stare at their hand for 5 minutes before acting preflop, usually a limp or a shuffle cards - re-look - re-shuffle - fold.

People that make calls by counting out one chip at a time.

People that limp uselessly, hand after hand, ****ing limp limp limp. Everyone folded to the button? ****ing limp! $2 rake and no chop.

Multiway limped pots usually go check-check-check the whole way on a A-A-x flop until someone overbets it and either shows the ace or feels like hero for taking it down with a non-ace hand.

Seriously, nothing tilts me more than looking at J7o after a hand that just took 15 minutes where the pot was over 2 BI's and the hands were TPGK vs TPWK and the guy to my right shuffling his cards before looking at them. He'll usually limp or fold.

Horror calls on tournaments. You have to eventually shove light to stay alive. You shove T9s and get horror-called by something like Q8 or you shove with AK, get a caller and another caller you had gotten married to his J9s. Of course the board will run AJJxx or something.

getting knocked out when you pay aggressively in tournaments.

For example, its getting close to bubble and blinds are getting high. $550 buy-in, playing for 10 hours. UTG limp, MP limp, button limp, I raise in the big blind all-in with with 7,4. utg fold, mp fold, button thinks about it for like 20 seconds, counts all his chips (even the small ones) finally calls with QQ.

WTF are you doing limping with 3 people in the pot with queens!!!

(BRAG: I flopped 2 pair and knocked him out)
