Actually it un-tilts me pretty good when people (old folks in particular) complain about the way I play "why can't you play normal?" "why do you have to raise every hand" "go play the 2/5" "he won't let us see a flop". Then I know just how I'm going to take their money and if they raise I just know when to fold. Someone will make it $10 and I will fold and they'll be like "That's right! I got you to fold!" and show AA/KK. Okkkkk you got my $2 blind, good for you, maybe if you weren't such a bitch I might have dumped to you with my A9.

I went and played today. Basically any strat talk at the table makes my head explode. I watched a hand today in a tourney, btn limps, sb (me) completes, bb shoves for like 9bb's. Button calls and shows AQ vs T8s. Of course T8 wins and button goes on to say things like, "I am not going to play crap and try to suckout"

People who take super long on preflop decisions when no one has opened. And then go on to fold anyway.

I hate donk strat talk, some guy today on about his son is having flying lessons, and I said ''wtf how do you afford that?'' and he turns around and says ''I'm a professional card player mate'' (I know full well he works as a call assistant at virgin media) And I seriously just felt like twatting him there and then as he went on to explain that A/A v K/K is 50/50 because a k has just as much chance of hitting the board as an ace does, oh and he also shed some light on how to play six max ''Don't play aces six max, if you do get aces, just limp no point in aces in 6 max'' then the whole donk strike table who have never played for more than 5 pound proceed to tell me that he's a good player, I honestly felt like killing myself :@

I actually check blind a lot when I play live as well. It basically gives you position on other players, albeit with a small risk of losing value if it gets checked though. A std check/raise gets treated completely different from a checkblind/raise. It's great when you're drawing/make your draw. These people will often price themselves in to pay you off, or just plain valuetown themselves.

There's this guy, that ****ing guy, at my local casino where only 1/2 NL is played, rarely 2/5. He was born with that smug look on his face, just a little smile always in the corner of his mouth with a somewhat empty look from which you can see that he does not give a **** about anyone. Rich businessman type, keeps 40 buy-ins for that game in 100$ bills.

As long as he has money and a draw, he will draw. Naturally he would not be annoying if he wasn't so ****ing lucky.

I get AA (his raise is always 10$, no matter what the hand, so basically we're playing 1$/10$), he makes it 10$ from UTG, i make it 100$ from MP1 (standard), he calls and the flop comes Q25 rainbow. He checks, i bet my remaining 100$ and he calls showing Q2o which holds up.

''I told you aces are never good'' he says, with a little wink in my direction. Adding that he will call my all-ins cause aces ain't ****

I get AA, 10$ raise from him, i make it 100$ again, he goes all-in and of course i go along for the ride. KxxxQ and he tables the KQo.

LITTLE wink in my direction with a smile.

I get AA (the next week), limp UTG to check-raise him seeing as otherwise he calls raises and the table follows along. I check-raise to 100$ (Mind you we're both 500$ deep at this point). He says 'it's so cheap, i can't afford not to go' and calls. FLOP : 35J rainbow. I bet 200 into the initial 150$ into 200$. It's still cheap so he goes along, turn 8, completing the rainbow. I bet my remaining 250$ and he goes 'Ah might as well now'. The river comes a 7 and he flips over the 46o for the straight.

And gives me a little wink, that ****ing guy.

Cool story bro.

You should love that guy, if you continue to play with him he will send your kids to college. Does he ever fold? Like when you have the nut, does he look at his cards, think, look again, evaluate and you just know he has a good hand but he soul-read you for a better hand? If that's the case, then I understand.

I know this one old guy who UTG limp/called my $12 as I had a $100 stack (I was poor back then and that was my last $100). I have AJ btw.

Flop comes J74. He checks, I bet $18, he calls. Turn is an Ace. He tried to buy it, betting $24. I push the remainning of my $70 and he ****ing SNAP calls 36offsuit. Of course you can guess what the river card was. That same old **** ****ing folded to my nut hands several times when I had a decent stack.

That ****ing guy is great for the game and easy money, like everyone else at that casino, it's a small one, away from any large towns and has a bunch of old rich regulars who are really bad. This is just somethings he does that tilts me, for the times i'm not raking his chips my way.

P.S : Don't ever comment on my posts again.

If you don't want comments, don't post your cry-baby stories imo. It's people like you that tilt me the most. I bet you educate the fish at your table too. If you were sitting at my table, I would gun for you because you are the easy money, not the unpredictable guy. I would always try to crack you and if not, bluffing is plan B. The weighted average fold-equity + suck-out equity against you outweights the times you will actually have it, imo.

*Asian floaters. Call call call, just waiting for you to check OOP on a scare card so they could pot it, regardless of their cards.
*People that call off half of their stack preflop or on the flop and c/f on the next street.
*People (read pessimists) that talk during the hand,
eg: flop is 722r, I check he bets I call. Turn: 10. I check, he goes "arg you got me, check". Sometimes it's their body language that gives this away. But it's okay, more free money for me.

HOWEVER, in the above example:

Flop 722, I c/c his standard 1/3 pot c-bet

Turn: 10, I check, he checks while shaking his head

River: A, I bet big, he goes "arghh.. alright, here, gift" and calls your bluff with 75o or pocket 3's or some sh&t.

Whenever the third card of one suit comes down, look down at your hand, look back at the board, then say "Right colour, wrong shape." before folding. Nobody at the table will remember you having said this before and it will really brighten up their day.

How are so many 2+2ers tilted by a bad beat? The only time a bad beat will ever tilt me is if I'm playing too high for my roll.

It sounds like some of you have no social skills at all.

When the fish outdraws you do not bitch and moan. Laugh with them. The fish like it. Imagine what happens next.

A) The money can easily go back to you
B) The fish enjoys playing you with you
- Imagine fish excited about joining your table and actually searching YOU out instead of you having to spend hours bumhunting online heads up tables

Either drop down and don't tilt, or take the beat with some class and let the fish hand it back to you.
