Rich businessman type, keeps 40 buy-ins for that game in 100$ bills.
As long as he has money and a draw, he will draw. Naturally he would not be annoying if he wasn't so ****ing lucky.
I get AA (his raise is always 10$, no matter what the hand, so basically we're playing 1$/10$), he makes it 10$ from UTG, i make it 100$ from MP1 (standard), he calls and the flop comes Q25 rainbow. He checks, i bet my remaining 100$ and he calls showing Q2o which holds up.
''I told you aces are never good'' he says, with a little wink in my direction. Adding that he will call my all-ins cause aces ain't ****
I get AA, 10$ raise from him, i make it 100$ again, he goes all-in and of course i go along for the ride. KxxxQ and he tables the KQo.
LITTLE wink in my direction with a smile.
I get AA (the next week), limp UTG to check-raise him seeing as otherwise he calls raises and the table follows along. I check-raise to 100$ (Mind you we're both 500$ deep at this point). He says 'it's so cheap, i can't afford not to go' and calls. FLOP : 35J rainbow. I bet 200 into the initial 150$ into 200$. It's still cheap so he goes along, turn 8, completing the rainbow. I bet my remaining 250$ and he goes 'Ah might as well now'. The river comes a 7 and he flips over the 46o for the straight.
And gives me a little wink, that ****ing guy.
Cool story bro.
You should love that guy, if you continue to play with him he will send your kids to college. Does he ever fold? Like when you have the nut, does he look at his cards, think, look again, evaluate and you just know he has a good hand but he soul-read you for a better hand? If that's the case, then I understand.
I know this one old guy who UTG limp/called my $12 as I had a $100 stack (I was poor back then and that was my last $100). I have AJ btw.
Flop comes J74. He checks, I bet $18, he calls. Turn is an Ace. He tried to buy it, betting $24. I push the remainning of my $70 and he ****ing SNAP calls 36offsuit. Of course you can guess what the river card was. That same old **** ****ing folded to my nut hands several times when I had a decent stack.
