People that play NL like Limit. Ie: Always, min-raise, always min-bet, even if the pot is $300, they will bet $5. Sometimes they will under-raise you, eg: you put $75, they'll stick in $110 or some sh&t like that.

when someone is going to raise and ends up just grabbing half his stack and slamming it down and announcing ''this much'' totally disregarding the size of it and the pot size and then gleems at you

When someone bets, the donk tanks and folds showing his cards. Other player laughs, flips over an inferior hand. Donk asks to run the rest of the deck to see what would of happened. Ends up the other player would of hit and ended up winning, and then theres always one thick skull knuckle dragger on the table who pipes up saying "That's a good fold, see?"

Is the quality of play really is that bad in a 1/2 live game? Seriously, it sounds almost like 5NL online or something

This would never happen in a casino, nice try though.

Yeah not casino, pub game. Unfortunatly I'm not balling enough to play much in casinos so most of my live play is in pubs for pennies

I can't say they really tilt me in that they don't affect my play, but they certainly make me want to hurt people physically:

A certain guy in the casino near me who every time I've ever been has used the line "There's nothing like a good flop...and that's nothing like a good flop!" followed by laughter from the table who must've heard the joke even more than I have.

The irritating woman who insists that she's bored and wants to go before standing up, putting her coat on, and then flips over KK when called.

In one limped pot I check my big blind with Qc2c, hit a AcKc6c flop, check, someone massively overbets so I move all in for a thousand more chips. The man next to me then proceeds to spend the next hour insisting that I should've slow played the nuts. I've never seen a raiser more pot committed...

It was a small casino, and the cash table at the time was self-dealt. I busted from the tourney, and went to sit. The dealer gives the first card to the button, which I pointed out as that's a misdeal. He then agressively tells me that he'd asked the table if they minded him dealing like this, and they'd all agreed. This happens as the cardroom manager walks by, asks what the problem is, and tells him he has to deal to the small blind first as that's house rules. Man proceeds to make jibes at me angrily for the rest of the evening for getting him in trouble. It was like being 7 again.

I hear they are very similar actually, and that 1KNL live is like 25NL online.

I've played £1/£1 blinds in a few casinos in England...and well, it's probably not much different to 5nl, no. Only problem is I've always been a broke student when I've played it.

We don't tip because good cards came. Tipping is us sharing a little piece of our profits for a good dealer, who deals quickly and keeps a close eye on the action. These are generally the dealers that deserve more than minimum wage.

mini-hellmuths at $350 tournaments with the white sweatsuits, the big headphones, the shades, the baseball cap --- acting like it's my fault for somehow making an error my getting into a hand with a superior holding to theirs. Telling the room, loudly, that I'm never letting him see the river, as if I'm breaking a house rule and am the only thing standing between him and fame and fortune ...

having to listen to pre-pubescent toolbags talking about how a friend of a friend of a friend busted Doyle at the Main Event a couple years ago. This makes you connected? the only silver lining is that when they finally shut up after talking nonstop for an hour, know it's because they have a hand and you can fold your A-Q.

Short-stacking pre-pubescent *******s that need to slow-roll/Hollywood everytime they have the nut hand with less than 1/5th pot left behind.

Eg:

The board is: AKJT5

I have Q-X and have bet the turn and now $25 on the river. Obv he flatted the turn. The pot is about $200 and he got $40 left.

Pause, think, play with chips, look disappointed... "I'M ALL IN" with a BIG stare down. That's 15 ****ing dollars more.

Of course I am obliged to cry-call his $15 as he slowrolls QJ.

In spite of the monster hand that was and having the button, he ****ing checked or flatted every ****ing street.

That inevitably follows by a hit-and-run.

Hmm, reminded me of a time I went to play cash at a casino by me which as self dealt. I went for a cigarette and a 10 min break to eat some food ( I didn't like eating at the table) when i came back I noticed 8 pound was gone from my stack, when I asked the table if they had saw if anyone had taken my 8 pound, the dealer said she was posting my blinds whilest I was gone (lol wtf???) and the whole table continued to tell me you get anted away when you sit out at a cash table, I let this go because I didn't wanna cause a huge fuss over my 8 quid as I was up 4 times what I sat down with (ended up losing it all long story wont go there) on the same table we was also playing 9 handed, and a guy asks if he can sit for 10 handed, the whole table says yes sit, then another guy comes and says can he sit, the whole table shuffle round saying yes yes ****, I say hang on, 10 handed is bad but 11 handed? come on that's over the top. Then the whole table went mad at me for not wanting to play 11 handed lol. nice tl;dr

This actually works quite well for me in online micros if i lose a buyin or a huge pot and i know i appear tilted to the table, open-shoving KK and AA if i get them them 1 or 2 hands later seems to payoff in the right situations.
