People who don't use card protectors in the 1 and 10 seats and hold up the game for 5 minutes fighting with the dealer when his cards are taken by mistake.

Dealers that snap - call you out for your cell phone on the rail but mess up the deal almost every single down. Premature turn cards, exposed cards, not paying attention to action, not paying attention to angles. ***** if you're gonna be OCD perfectionist about the rules how about following the game to the tee and be a perfect dealer, you know, where real money is involved.

i've never been called out for cell phone on the rail. must be just you. if i were you, i'd take that sh*t personal and complain to the floor. and don't back down. get angry and threaten to 'take action' if they refuse to agree with your side of the story. make sure you record the entire confrontation on your cell phone. you can post the video on bbv; instant hero.

Yeah, what about when that guys first card is the Ace and the dealer shows the 5 or 6? I bet you dont say a word, or better yet, i bet you're ' the guy who says"thanks for sitting down when ya did pal he busted cuz of you!"

My biggest blackjack petpeeve is when im on tilt stuck alot and bet the table max and get dealt 20 and everyone starts clapping like i won the megamillions, like"guys the hand isnt even over yet" and the dealer gets 21 there a majority of the time. Then they sit there silent o course

"good luck allin"
people who ask to "give the deck a wash" as if that matters or something
5 minute staredowns on a $50 bet on 1/2
When someone says"omg i folded 9-3" when its 339 on the flop
When I pay for room service and it includes a tip when i pay for the meal. thats so screwedup
when i make a table max bet onblack or red and some clown bets the other side for the minimum

The main cashier at almost any casino... specifically the Borgata.

The degens taking their cash advances and getting their thumbprint taken, the old people with myriads of slot tickets, the rail birds hoping for a handout, and the crackheads jumping line to line hoping to get their chips cashed in faster. I'm convinced the casinos place some of the people here to delay me from cashing out and I usually just find my way back to a table to cash out 'when its less crowded' and it never ends well.

If you're a regular player ... color up (or don't) and just take some chips home. They'll be fine next week when you go back.

Honestly good advice Angrist.

It would work if I wasn’t one of the degenerates I kinda described in my post. I usually go to cashier to get cash in my hand when I have a nice run at a table just because I know myself and it’s much harder to drop big amounts of cash vs large denom chips.

After scooping a pot, a player starts stacking his wins, forgetting to return his cards. (This part happens to us all)

The dealer asks "Can I have those cards back?"

Player jokingly responds "No I'd rather keep these!"

Tilt b/c (1) I hear the same lame joke 3x/session, (2) always from a similar looking old nit, (3) person always delays a few seconds for comedic effect delaying the game further, (4) tends to happen when I am card dead.

Compounded by old nit racking up and leaving after winning a full buyin+ sized pot

Okay here is a small list:

- People who has to be told to post blinds and antes EVERY SINGLE HAND.
- People who triple check their hands on flop/turn/river like anything would magically change or if he could not remember TWO cards for 3 minutes.
- Players who tank and stare you down for minutes before folding, like it would EVER change anything?

Bonus: Shot clock for every tournament!

(x) DalTXColtsFan is guilty of this.
( ) DalTXColtsFan realized that it tilts the other players.
(x) DalTXColtsFan, now armed with this information, intends to increase the frequency of the joke in the hopes that the tilting of the other players will work to his advantage.

inb4 someone responds ( ) DalTXColtsFan has a penis thinking they're so original and witty

When the brokeass newbie is betting hard on a board of something like AKK9 and the reg is staring at the board pondering on "what could he have" and trying to make sense out of the play using complex range distributions, hand eliminations, combos and all that advanced stuff. "How often is he doing this with QJ, QT?" "Is he turning a 98, 97, T9, Q9s into a bluff?" "I have this blocker so he can't have that, what are the chances?".

NEWSFLASH: He's BROKE. HE'S GOT THE KING. DO NOT PAY HIM OFF. This guy cannot spell poker, but he will not put money into the pot unless he believes this is going to pay his rent. Like, the reg is supposed to be good, he always plays well and makes my life difficult.

That scenario goes for anyone stares at any dry flop for a considerable about of time. Sometimes I just want to yell in his ear.. "THERE IS AN ACE. THERE IS A KING. THERE IS A 9". Since the tanker is probably already thinking "does he have an ace? Does he have a king? Does he have a 9? Is he bluffing? Can I afford this amount of money to find out and be able to sleep at night?". They never have a real hand. They'll either say "I'll give it to you" and fold their bottom pair/underpair/K4, whatever. Or they'll snap call, give the "please don't bet" puppy eyes, and snap fold the turn.
