Well she was in a hand with me, during an orbit of Hi/Lo, when I had second nut and she had nut, when she said to another player in the pot..."let's squeeze hem out, he's got no thing" Does that count?

Saving slot machines.... There's only a few of an older machine that I like to play when the casino throws me some slot dollars and the old hag had like 28c in it for a half hour and kept saying her friend was coming back. Out of principal I waited til the friend came back and she ended up maxing out all her cards and had 0 cash. The friend gave her 5$ and I watched her spin .01 cents for 15 minutes before wishing them good luck farting in their directing than walking away.

Yeah, it's not the people that are tilting you, it's the cards.

1/2 game. Under the gun looks up from his iPhone, asks how much, dealer responds 2 and buddy folds.

Lather, rinse and repeat.

Pet hate as a dealer in a casino myself. Players who say "no" when its there action! WTF does no mean, they say no and then don't move their cards towards you, they just leave them out of reach.

Oh and,

dealer: 250 to call,
player: 250, ok.. how much?

dealer: bet is 250
player: so that is 250 more?

deal: FFS, of course it is!!!!

How about when it gets to someone, they ask "How much?" The dealer tells them it's $10 and they ask "who raised?" I've piped up in these cases and said "Gee, let's see if we can figure this out." If you're so clueless that you can't look and figure out who raised, I doubt that the information is going to do you much good.

When buying chips at the Fallsview, say $500, they take out a rack and then take out a pill of reds, separate them in four piles, and then count the five chips in one pile one by one, wave their finger back and forth the four piles of reds, put them back in the rack.

How slowly the cashiers at the Fallsview count the chips and how slowly they count the bills before handing them out to you.

Tilting.

In all fairness I've asked this a couple of times but only because I honestly couldn't see. If you're sitting in the 7 seat and all the players on that side of the table are leaning forward it can sometimes be hard to tell.

Mtt, thats how its done at the tables I play, and how its done at the casino cashier. At the charitables I wish they were this competent. The racks arent always accurate.

Are you saying that after counting one rack of 20 chips they dont just compare the others to it?

Deal "set-up hands", then chuckle about it.

This was from my first time playing at a casino. It was a 1/3 NL table and I bought in like $200, and there was this guy playing like the biggest maniac I've ever seen. He would open-raise literally half his hands to $40+ and if someone opened in front of him he would just grab a stack of $5s and slam them on the table, which the dealer had to count (it would usually be like $130 or so). He had a big stack too, probably over a grand, so obviously he was hitting some cards. Anyway I get AQ, raise to $15, and he slams $120 down, I go all in and he calls. I flip up my hand (I'm an online donk so I thought both players had to reveal in all in situations), he gets this kinda sad look on his face and holds his hand out over the muck. An ace hits the flop, he lowers his hand until it's like six inches from the felt. Board runs out, dealer points to him, he gets this pained look on his face and then raises his hand up and SLAMS Ace-King on the table, pumps his fist and goes "YEAH!!!" Then the rest of the table starts cheering him on, saying things like "what a play!" and "I thought he had you!" because he made this grand show of slowrolling me. Yeah I was kind of bothered by the dude but having most of the table think he was awesome for doing this really put me on tilt. Sadly I only brought $200 so I just drove home angry.

By the way pointing out the race of the person who annoys you is probably not a good look

Calling for set-ups every 5 minutes because of "bad luck" and "bad shuffling."

Bad Beat Bill: He owned you bro. That's what you get for coming in with one short buy-in. People like you deserve to lose. You should know that walking in a donkfest maniacal game, one needs minimum 3-4 full buy-ins to at least have a shot at beating variance.

Would you have otherwise 4bet shove into a $120 rr with ace queen off suit ?

not a strategy thread, dude

(though if you really must know, it wasn't my idea to go, I was underage, $200 was all I had on me at the time, but we were in the area and some friends wanted to go. even if I bought in for the $300 max I would've lost all my money on that hand)

This is standard procedure and it's only some Vegas casinos I've seen where they don't count like that. A good cashier can do that procedure in about five seconds. But it's not really a big deal if it takes longer. I mean you spend xx minutes getting to and from the casino, you spend xx minutes waiting for a seat, you spend x hours playing. Another minute cashing out is nothing.

Racks are designed to fit about 20.4 chips, if the rack is worn and the chips are worn you could easily get 21 in there.

Live poker can be hard to follow when you're used to the sound of the pokerstars chips entering the pot and alert sounds, no joke.
