When I'm sitting at third base in blackjack, hit my 16 against the dealers 10, I bust, dealer gets 21, and somebody proceeds to blame me for the dealer getting 21 and busting the table. **** you buddy! Learn basic strategy

When people hide their bigger chips behind their smaller chips. I remember playing at a table where player 1 with $1500 thought this guy had $300 in a $2-5 NL game and said I put you all in. The other person pulled out a bunch of chips behind his stack and had enough to cover player 1. Player 1 started complaining because he did not know how much he really had. Surprisingly the floor said the bet stood and player 1 lost it all.

Suprised that was binding. In my local casino, I put you allin is not considered a bet. You have to say allin.

That would piss me off though. Some people are bad about putting higher denomination chips behind smaller, especially in tournaments.

It is not supposed to be but sometimes floor people make mistakes.

Another thing that tilts me is when you keep losing your money to the worst player ever. He feels like a pro cause he can do no wrong vs you. But everyone else gets all of his chips.

Losing 10 hands in a row at BJ, get 2-2 against the dealer's 6. Split. Ace. Double down - 7 for 20.

Next card, 2, split, 8, double down, 10 for 20.

Next card, 9, double down 8 for 19.

6 units on the table.

3rd base has 14. Indicates he wants a hit. Dealer asks for confirmation. He goes yes yes and taps the table. Peels a face card.

Dealer has a 6 underneath and draws a 9 for 21.

You lose 10 hands in a row and have a chance to make back 6 units and the ****ing moron in 3rd base seals your faith.

People at BJ that think their odds change because of the way somebody else plays.

7. 2nd hand story i heard this weekend. would tilt the HELL outta me if i saw this: somebody flat out angling/taking advantage of another player. very annoying middle eastern regular is in a hand w/ another middle eastern player (fish). their ethnicity matters for the story. the board is like A23K4 and the fish has AA. the dickhead guy bets and the fish is so clearly about to call and the dickhead gets up out of his seat, says "stop. i'll save you the bet. no need to call."

fish asks" you have the straight?" guy says "yes" and the fish asks "will you show?" the guy says "yea absolutely. trust me, i'm just trying to save you a bet". he said something about how they're from the same culture or something (which is why the fact they're both middle eastern was important). the fish had the chips in his hand and was STILL going to call even after all of that. eventually though the dickhead was convincing enough and the fish folded.

other guy showed his hand which was like 97 (just some bs). the fish FLIPPED OUT and was like "how can you do that" etc. etc. and the guy's response was "sorry. look, i know i was wrong, but i'm down a lot of money"............................................ ...............

Ive personally done something very similar. Although i didnt kno the guy aside from a coiple hours of small talk. Got him to lay down middle set on the flop after putting in 60% of his stack. It was truly amazing. He flipped out also....

Best part of the story.....

.... It was 10 years ago and i saw the guy last week and thought it was him and asked if it was. It was. He remembered. He was cool about it

I actually get tilted when a fish shows me his nutted hand trying to get me to fold when I was ready to put in a bet/raise.

I actually get tilted when people make a large bet in position and then proceed to beg the other person to fold because "I don't want to take your money". Worst part is they'll usually have the nuts or near. They couldn't just check, they had to put in a big overbet and then BEG the other person to fold. It'll really be something like 77 on a 755A2 board. Like, are they scared of AA/55, or just hate money. The worst part is they are serious.

People who are capable of understanding BJ strategy and think they might win at BJ. Negative expectation is negative expectation ... the longer you play the more likely you are to be a loser. I understand there might be some sort of entertainment value and this is a personal choice but where's the entertainment in waiting to lose? I think you might just be a degen with restraint ... why not just give the money to charity and get some feel good mojo?

Reading this because the drop in CA is $4.5 for Rake and BBJ at the 1/2 NL table.

On an unrelated note, has anyone seen any Poker players at a casino actually happy??

It is not uncommon to sit at a table where everyone seems to agree that "they hate Jacks" or "Kings always attract an ace on the flop" and other standard bad beat stories. You never hear anyone say "I love aces" or "I love reraising with T8s because it balanced my 3betting range and when I get caught with it I will get action out of Q5 next time with aces or when I hit it I will stack the old fart who gets married to top pair".

I have never seen a more depressive and deadpool-of-the-human-genome sight than at a live 200 NL game. Where most people are sitting with < 80$ in front of them and the apparent middle-aged baller shark that you saw raking in thousands at the 5/10 five years ago now sits at the 1/2 with $16 in front of him and his head on the table.

The only time I have seen a jolly table was either a live MTT final table, or at a 10/20 game in Vegas where the $4 max rake is virtually non-existant, and everyone is sort of loaded in RL.

Flopping the nuts and getting it in, villain calls with two outer, hits it on river and jumps up and celebrates like he just won the main event

Old guys that call your raises because they're not going to let some young guy "push them around"

People who are super loud and always feel the need to talk to you in the middle of a hand or try to taunt you when in a pot with them

People who ask you for ridiculous small loan amounts, like $15 or $25 just to spew at BJ or some other pit game

The "soul reader" who gives you the stare down in a limit game

Old guys who look raise you and say something like, "you're not playing with kids anymore" Buddy, i'm in a casino I haven't been playing with kids for a while

All these things have tilted me at some point

Fish puts out a bet at any point in a hand (happens often with large river bets) and oppenent tanks. Fish raises his hand, palm up just slightly above table. Kind of as if saying "what? what do you want from me?"

Usually happens when you think for more than 10 seconds and I have no idea why it tilts me so much.

Bitches and moans, asks for an out button because "I always get unlucky with this ******* dealer" and then asks for a setup. Sounds pretty standard

At the Venetian when you want to go from the main lobby to your hotel room, you have to go through a smoke-filled casino with all the slot machine noise. And then your clothes all smell like smoke. Poker room is non-smoking however but the smell still gets there.

Sometimes at Foxwoods when walking through a casino, or near, your clothes catch the smell of cigarettes. It's disgusting. Probably the only reason I wouldn't go back to the Venetian.
