When the dealer tries to tell you how to play or inform you of the rules of the game that you are playing for a living. Interestingly enough, these dealers typically are the ones who right after doing something like this will misdeal multiple times, make excuses for doing so and then get mad after they make themselves look completely incompetent.

Actually just thought of this.

Haven’t played live cash there in a while, but my local casino Rivers... this one dealer always goes out of his way to point to someone and say “it’s your straddle”. Annoys the hell out of me. Because a few people do it... he likes to tell everyone.

I tried to tell him not to say that as he pressures the fish and recs to do it when clearly they don’t want to.

This actually qualifies as Anti-Tilt.

UTG (tightest player in the building) open for 7x
UTG + 1 (also one of the tightest players in town, sitting there with his book, coffee, not playing a hand for 6 hours) reraises to 35 BB
UTG + 2 tanks for about 10 seconds and shoves 150 BBs.
... fold, fold,.. fold, to the BTN now.
*Places card protector on cards*Starts spreading two hands across his face* and goes into the TANK.

--------------------------

When I'm all in on a major draw, get called, brick river, show my 9-high and Villain not only takes forever to reveal his jack-high. The dealer after counting out Villain's stack, "Six hundred and forty six to you sir" demanding the money. I mean are you ****ing stupid? Here is my entire stack, for well over a thousand. Take what you need.

--------------------------

Dealers that are quick to call you out for your cell phone once the cards are out but will misdeal, have trouble following the action, make side-pot mistakes almost every down. Actually I love those. Gives me an excuse to go balls out of the little uneducated dealer. You wanna follow the rules, start by following the game properly. We are playing for thousands here. It's worst than the kitchen table $0.10/0.20.

--------------------------

Bet of $175 into a $500 pot on the river. Gets re-jammed on for another $120'ish. Tanks. Asks questions like "Did you hit your straight". Get offended when clock is called.

I know it has been said countless times before but I just had to vent about it. Was playing at my local casino last night and there was this elderly gentleman who would take ages to play his turn. He would always require prompting and even when it came down to counting out chips he would literally count out a $5 chip at a time. It got so tilting that I eventually just would fold when he would start betting just to keep the game moving faster.

I'm sure this one's been covered before.

Players who don't know that you have to turn both cards up to win the pot at showdown if the losing player hasn't mucked his hand, and casinos who won't let their dealers tell them. They turn one card up and are baffled that the pot is not being pushed to them, then the long standoff ensues and everyone's time is wasted.

The first time it happened, I said something and was hissed at by everyone else. The next time it happened, the dealer had to call the floor and the clock on a new player, who ended up losing a $200 pot with the winning hand and who will undoubtedly never play live poker again. Way to grow the game.

From now on, I'm ****ing saying something every time--I don't care if I'm the bad guy in that spot.

She didn't even say one word or ever sit down, there were extra chairs sitting around but no one even offered her one lol. How could you just want to sit there like that I would at least want to walk around or something and how does he just expect her to watch him so long??
This always baffles me too. I always think it's one of two things . . .

1) Chick is psycho and wont let her man be alone for even a moment
2) Chick is depressed and would rather sit in a room with literally nothing to do than be alone since she has no life and no friends.

I dont know which is worse or sadder.
Whenever a woman does that at my home room, I ask the table to pick one, psycho or depressed?

I mean, what else could it be?

A few weeks ago there was this jagbag at my table, (I mean, a dude in his 40's with a facemask that says "Gucci" across it in huge letters? AYFKM!?!?!?!) and he was just an idiot and not very good, but had all the attitude, I ended up sucking out on him in a big pot and when he insulted me I said with total seriousness and the straightest face I could muster, "dude, I've been studying up and practicing at home on how to suck out on the flop, dont get mad at me you havent done your homework!"

I've been waiting a long time to use that line and he went off on a rant for 10 minutes on me and I just acted confused and insisted, "dude, dont get mad at me, learn how to suckout better, what's your problem? Leave me alone, I just played it better" I kept sneaking a look at the dealer who I am friends with since I've been playing at that room for years and Gucci-man is a newbie, and she was doing all she could not to burst out laughing.

Most satisfying moment at the table in a long long time. It was KK vs AA and I hit the K.

Coming from a guy who couldnt spell his own screen name correctly, I'm not too concerned with your judgement regarding what is, or is not, "stupid"

You meant "Assassin" not "assasin"

And everyone in the cardroom stood up and cheered you, too?

Next time you feel like narrating your cleverness, just narrate your most recent bowel movement instead.

It will still be a shitty tale, but at least it'll be less embarrassing for all of us.

I'm super new to live poker and I read a few pages so I will not be any of these people lol.

Here is the only thing that comes to mind as annoying-mildly tilting- I bought in at the table from the dealer and I HATED how she gave me the money in chips. I definitely prefer getting chips how I want them. She gave me zero $1 chips. Everytime it was my blind, I had to put in 5 and get change. It literally made no sense. After I won some hands I was fine- but still. It's pretty annoying waiting for change on every hand.

In low stakes games long term this will feel more convenient. You win a few pots here and there and suddenly you have all the white chips you need. It’s pretty standard to receive two three stacks of red for 200-300 usd. It works itself out.

And this is no better than your other post. You have no talent at story telling or writing. Maybe you play poker better than either of these things.
