Giving good implied odds doesn't usually do anything to lessen the anger of the guy who got his aces cracked by your 78 and then got mocked for losing by somebody acting like a total fish. The point isn't the specific hand, the point is putting people on tilt.
(Plus, if I had AA in a live 1/2 game I'd make it rather more than $10 so that loose donks with 78
wouldn't have good implied odds, but that's beside the point.)
