He obviously beats the other possible combos of 89. K9 is better than 89!
You have to think like fish, he have any 2 suited cards in range usually, so he think you too, so he expecting you to bluf FD, in fish eyes it makes perfect sense, he cant count bluff combos to value combos, becouse he have no idea of ranges, but there is some hand reading involved, it's not brain dead at least
1st hand i can even understand his call, but 2nd is wtf
yeah 1st hand I can kind of see the fish logic: "I'm betting to see where I'm at, once he raises there's a good chance he's bluffing me and I win against diamond bluff so call"
Second hand was so surprising to me because he wasn't obviously on tilt or anything (his VPIP went down so it seemed to me like he was cooling off), this was several orbits after the first hand, and he actually won $5 in that time.
Sometimes people just misread hands, few days ago reg cold 4bet and called jts bb vs sb vs btn, i remember some time ago graphics sheme i usedwas so unclear that i was flying hi with my A4 thinking i have pocket aces
It seems to me that villain has a pretty high poker IQ and is just having some fun at low stakes. But he is playing too advanced against weaker opponents that are not on his level.
