Ok I have my share of bad beats , but this one absolutely made no sense to me.

I was in the $2.20 phase with a deep stack and this hand happens.
I'm ok if he leads twice, but to call the rest of his stack with Ace high then happens to hit his gut shot....

Someone tell me players like this exist or have seen worse plays that make no sense.

Is that supposed to be a joke? Should I jam flop after his bet on that board? I'm dominating his lead out range. I'm going all in on the turn regardless just his play makes no sense to call the rest of his stack, but ok

He was pot committed, and actually got the right odds to call the 9BB with his 7 outs. I've seen way more crazy/worse plays.

I think his play makes a lot more sense than your play. I think he played it pretty well. Must be a good player, nothing you can do about it.
