Dear players,

Today, Friday 18th of July 13.00 CET, TheLoon has started with his 10K challenge. He will play for 31 days on EVP 25NL. The target: winning $10.000. He is only allowed to play 12 tables max. He is allowed to make his own schedule and play as many hours as he wants, till he passed the 31 days.

To make the challenge even more interesting everybody had the opportunity to place a bet with 5:2 odds. Together the bettors have wagered a total amount of nearly $100K. If he makes it within 31 days he wins, if not the bettors win.

Of course there are a set of rules that both TheLoon and the bettors will have to follow. A jury will follow the process and will make sure that everything goes by the rules everybody agreed on.

The sessions TheLoon makes are all being broadcasted (LIVE) at the Dutch Pokernews site, on the main page. This way we can all see it is really him playing. At the end of every day TheLoon will update his blog: http://my.pokernews.com/TheLoon

Because of the fact he will be playing a lot of hours each day, I will be his spokesperson. Questions and/or comments can be aimed at me and I will answer them. Just send me a personal message or ask your question in this topic. Thanks in advance!

Isn't this the exact same bet as WCGRider did? After he failed you do this bet with the same odds, and you make it even harder by setting a max of 12 tables?

Well it's just an extra condition that wasn't really needed imho. It's not like he wouldn't have gotten action on this without it.

He will never make it. TheLoon is a very average 200nl 50k/month player, and Everest is alot slower then stars

Everest is much softer than Pstars, but multitabling there makes me die a little

I read this like 12 times and am still trying to figure out what it means...

It means TheLoon plays 200NL and wins about 50k$/month. And because thats not so much he probably wont suceed at the challenge. (he is not that good)
