He should have 144k vpps to go, with 19 days left, so he needs 7,578 vpps per day. He has an $81 avg buyin right now, at that rate he needs 488 games a day (currently averaging 389 for the month of December). He should be getting around 65 games an hour, which means he needs to average 7.5 hours a day from now until Dec 31st, assuming he plays every day, which actually is at least 8 hours a day when you count load up and load down times.

What's up guys. Day 55. I was gonna make a video today but it's already almost 2pm so I'm just gonna get loading. Ideas for a bunch of different stuff are floating around in my head, so hopefully when I get one out in the next day or so it'll be useful.

Lot of talk ITT about how many actually hours I need to play:

Current VPPs 870,731.

Days left (counting today) = 19

Avg needed per day = 6,803

Currently playing avg 14 tables 60/100 hypers at about a 50/50 split.

This is the home stretch. I'm 100% confident I'm going to reach SNE and win the bet. Seeing myself getting there and going faster than the pace I need is starting to make it feel easy. I'm telling myself I want to finish by Christmas. We'll see what happens. I always feel optimistic after a big volume day (12,500VPPs yesterday.) Right now what I have left does seem almost easy. I hope that frame of mind and feeling continue and I breeze through the rest of this. I'm excited to move on and get planning challenges and goals for next year.

Over the last 54 days, I'm been trying to monitor the connection between my ability to focus and play, and my diet, sleep and exercise habits, along with how social interactions and situations may be effecting my energy/focus levels. I always plan to wake up and just sit down and crush for 8 hours like it's nbd, but then I seem to get slapped in the face with an unforeseen day where I just can't seem to function anywhere close to where I should be. That's why I'm overshooting the VPP goal by such a wide margin on days when I seem to be able to get things going.

I don't know what it's like to spend a day inside someone else's brain, let alone 73 days. I'm sure there are people for whom my own "challenge" may have been easy. I'm sure there are those for whom it would be impossible. It's felt both ways to me at times. I appreciate when people say they think I'm capable of doing this and making it look easy. I think if the circumstances of my year and my perspective on it had been different, it perhaps would have been easier for me. I will carry forward the momentum and worth ethic this current task has helped me cultivate, and continue to challenge myself in the future. Hopefully each challenge does get easy and I'll keep raising the bar. That's kind of the point. Attack seemingly difficult tasks until they become easy.

I'm not trying to impress anyone with what I "accomplish." I'm simply trying to motivate myself to do "better than I was doing." I just want to keep setting goals to be better and get better in all aspects of life.

Gonna review quick and hit the tables, ty for all your support

GL OP, not that you need it at this point.

Has been a great ride following this bet.

This may have been answered before but i am curious so i will ask again. Any chance you post a profit chart? Would be interesting to see if this type of push is profitable pre- RB, pre-Prop Bet, Not at all?

I am hoping you turn a profit pre-RB and crush with the incentives and prop, fwiw.

Thanks dude. Don't need luck, just need energy and discipline.

---------------------------------

I will post whatever graphs you guys want to see when the challenge is over. As of today I'm up ~28K since the challenge started assuming 73% RB. This is the rb% fpppro.com estimates for 2nd year SNE. I see most people on 2+2 go by 71%, and that might be more accurate, especially b/c I always miss freerolls and stuff. I do get BOP from time to time though.

As I've said, you can scope me and go advanced and enter in RB %. I guess not everyone has a subscription to SS.

Big reason I don't post more results is because I don't actually look at them myself. I kinda get forced to on Sundays b/c I see the balance when I go to register any MTTs I want to fire.

I basically keep a portion of my roll big enough to play the stakes just below where I am currently playing partitioned off on Skrill or FTP. Then I just play with what's left in my PS and so long as I'm not getting an error message when I try to register all is well. I try to think about spots and hands and look at them, study and move on. I don't want my perspective on spots or situations clouded by the results I've experienced in those spots. If I'm playing well and table selecting there is no way I make less than $1/game on average, so I just aspire to play as many games/hour as possible while still maintaining my focus and clear thoughts.

Hopefully I make more than $1 per game in the long run, but even half of that or less could pay all my bills so why stress myself by sweating the slopes of a graph? I opt out of riding the swings I guess, it's not what I play poker for. In my experience there are poker players who love to gamble and would bet on anything, and then there are poker players who think gambling (at neutral or -EV) is the dumbest thing on earth. I fall in the later category, although I have had my moments

I feel like the only reason to check results is in case you need to move up or have to move down. I have enough $ set aside that I don't have to worry and I don't plan to move up to 200s unless I have close to 100k.

So with that said, I'm going into full lockdown mode from this moment forward. I will make periodic short update ITT, but probably just VPP counts and how I'm feeling. Here's our current count and graph for all games w/ 73% RB.

As for profit pre-rb, that's pretty much a wholly irrelevant metric. Hourly is the ONLY metric in hypers, and that is games per hour * profit per game (including RB.) Scope someone like shabalinvlad for $200 hypers (or all games) pre and post rakeback and you should see a good illustration as to what I mean here.

As someone who has been on top of the SS leaderboards many times in different stakes/games, I can honestly say that getting personal satisfaction or skill-set confirmation from these things is longrun -ev in poker and life. I'm not saying I don't think I beat the games pre-rakeback, I'm more saying idk and idc. I know I make money. That's what I'm here for. That said, gonna get clicking.

Clearly Hourly is the bottom line, but it is also only one way of reporting the data. It is also interesting to see pre-rb performance as well.

And yes not all have SS subs any more. I am only a silly american lurking the forums and playing live when i can, no no more SS for this guy.

Love to see some pics of what I should take with me to the haircut place to get something new done. Thinking try it long and see if I look like an adult. The trolls should enjoy this opportunity. Grinch away

975k, debating how many sessions to break it into. Kinda wanna go for one marathon but probably pretty unhealthy. Will post updates as we get closer. Either 2 sessions and aim to finish b4 UFC 168 on Saturday at 4am my time in Budapest or 3 sessions and finish up on Sunday. Might be anticlimactic if I finish while I'm still in some mtts tho.

I think I'll still make videos when I get inspired to say something I think is worthwhile. Responses like this one make me want to make more
