The sitting out guy's hand is shown up if he is all in and the sb completes, if he is all in and you raise from the button (or other positions) his hand is mucked.

Thanks so much for this. Seems pretty important to know. Will be testing the theory

^That last one was especially cool b/c it was a $500 Turbo. Been playing around with over-bets a lot lately.

I've played exactly one $300 turbo and one $500 turbo since this challenge began b/c line-ups were amazing, don't want people to think my BRM is out the window. A $500 turbo with 2 really good spots has similar variance to a 4.5 reg $100 hyper I imagine.

        Hi mate!

Following your blog and really wish you all the best (already said that, but I think it's important to emphasise ). Anyway, I liked this last Vlog of yours, I never bothered to look at "importance" in this way and I do aggree with you on that one. One thing I would like to point out, though:

I do belive it is important to identify things in life to which you should attach most importance and on the other hand it's even more important to identify all those things that don't really need to be important for you (you save a lot of nerves, energy, time, by doing that); but I do think you should be careful not to become totally ignorant of certain things to the fact u become "numb" or "passive".

I hope my post makes sense; basically what I'm trying to say is, you should definitely stop worrying about certain things, but for a lot of things, you should only decrease importance (wether drastically or moderately) of them.

Anyway keep them Vlogs coming, eager to see how you will look with a beard haha!

        Happy to advise as always.

Careful with doubting people. It's a fine line between giving your opponents too much respect or too little, both can be equally hazardous.

        Thanks for the Gl.

Off the top of my head, I would say he's a reg who is a bit on the creative side. I think that makes him a fun and challenging opponent to play against. I like that he's not afraid to make plays that may look stupid when they don't work. I think it shows a lot of heart. Can tell he's working hard and has improved over the last year. I probably have a pile of funny hands vs him in my database but I'm sure he's pulled some cool stuff off as well.

Thanks dude. I though saying the world exploding being nbd might ruffle some feathers

I think it is prudent for maintaining relationships in the world to be cognizant of how other people are assigning significance. I'm not advocating going through life unaware of how people react to things, that would just be ignorant and to your detriment.

I just think you have to see that the significance is assigned and not intrinsic. An apparent consensus on the importance of something doesn't mean it needs to be important to you. Being front page news doesn't make something important. Justin Bieber's haircut could be front page news on the right publication.

Often we let the people in our lives shape our perceptions of what is important. It's natural to an extent, but I think it's wise to take a step back and recognize how other peoples ideas of significance are shaping our own, and make decisions about to the extent to which it's healthy for us to allow that to occur.

Thanks a bunch. My goal in all of this, and in life in general, has always been inspire others. Inspiration of others is the exemplification of paying it forward. "Live inspired" is kind of my motto for life. It's also the beginning of my tattoo

It appears the server is back up so I'm gonna get on the grind. Been playing some 9mans lately. I can play more tables when they're not all 6max or all hypers. It's also just kinda fun to build samples in other games and find new spots to think about and learn. It makes 10 hours days more enjoyable b/c it's a bit of variety and some new challenges.

Been doing what I can to make my situation an enjoyable one as much as possible. If life's no fun what's the point? My chat game has been slackin' b/c I'm playing so many tables lately but all the party hats are still alive in my heart

              Day 25! Leggggggoooooo.

                $10 Freeroll.

Unless your guess is a pocket pair, be sure to denote if it's suited or not. Answers like "KQ" won't be considered, KQo or KQs?

Gonna go into hibernation for the weekend. Hopefully I'll re-emerge with more VPPs and not just more facial hair. Speaking of battle beards, I had a dream that Johnny Hendricks KO's GSP in the first at UFC 167 this Saturday. You heard it here first.
