Hahaha. Honestly, if anyone how to delete a bunch of messages at once without clicking all the individual boxes at once I'm all ears. I looks for a "select all on page" thing but I couldn't find one. Used tog et a lot of PMs from when I rented out rooms in our poker house in Vegas and from packages I sold. Lol'd pretty ahrd that you saw it that way.

All the screenshots of graphs I have posted have been current as of the time they were posted ITT. Also, my scope is unblocked if anyone wants to stay current or drill down and take a look at things by stake or year over year.

I mean that just is "2013 all games." Feel free to explore my scope if it interests you. Basically last year I was running at ev in most of my stakes (100h, 200t, 500t, 1000t) a tiny bit under in 200h and 2000t and way over in 300t. Then this year I ran basically either a little under ev or miles under at every stake all at the same time. I also fired MTTs for a while trying to "bink my way out of a downswing." My game and my mindset needed work, and I didn't start rebounding in anything until I dropped all the way down to $30 hypers.

My bankroll has been healthier. I also really do not want to have to be staked again in my career. All bets are to be escrowed so it really shouldn't be a concern to anyone wanting to wager, the worse my bankroll is doing the more they should like their side.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

There has been some concern voiced that if I were to find myself close toward the end of the bet, that I could just move up and play higher because the amount I stand to make from SNE bonus and this bet would compensate for my risk. This is something Uzi and I talked about and I said I'm not trying to blow out my roll, I'm trying to do this by being responsible and applying myself daily for a long period of time.

The spirit of the bet was really about "can I play this many tables, this many hours a day, this many decisions, everyday" not "can I get myself in a position where it's profitable for me to make a mad dash to elite regardless of the consequences."

It wasn't hard to reach an understanding on this with a personal friend, but I understand that people who don't know me may be more skeptical.

For that reason, I'm offering that if anyone else would like to bet against me, as long as the amount I stand to win from additional bets combined is significant (say > $7k) I will agree to get elite playing only stakes $100 USD and lower.

Technically, I mean that >95% of my volume will be at $100 and under. I don't want to exclude myself from playing the occasional higher game if I see a really soft line up, I want to be able to play the occasional $215 MTT, and I wouldn't want to lose the bet on a technicality b/c I mis-registered or won a sattie seat and forgot to unreg or something dumb like that. I'm saying 95% of my volume will be $100 and lower so it's not a issue, but I expect the real number to be closer to 98%. This 95% criteria would apply from the moment the bet was booked until the end of the year or until I reach elite, whichever comes first.

This is only added to the bet if more people bet against me. However, the whole point of the bet was about pushing my limits for how many hours I can work, how many tables I can play, how well I can play, day after day. It's about pushing myself, not hoping for positive variance or trying to "run hot." I'm really working to develop proper habits. Obviously adding this helps Uzi's side, but getting more action helps mine, so it seems fair. Unless I actually build my roll and feel comfortable enough in my game to move up, I don't plan to. You may see me do the bet at 100s and lower anyway. We'll see how it goes.

Ok so new video is uploaded and I just finished a review session. I had a really good day yesterday, and I think based on the tendencies I've exhibited in the past, it is especially important for me to review when I'm winning. I'm really working to foster a curiosity and studious mindset for the game. I aim treat poker like learning to master chess or something similar, completely devoid of ego and results; game theory all the way.

I compared some different strategies and how those strategies alter depending on what strategies I think my opponents are using, and based on what strategies I think my opponents perceive that I am utilizing. I found all this very interesting, which is good. If studying is engaging I will do it more often.

I'm going to try and make my VPP count and results a weekly thing. I'll start today and go from Thursday I guess, just because that works for my schedule. I took a screenshot of my graph since 10/20 (4 days of play) with my VPP counter at the top. I think took another screenshot of my stakes played for people who want to see my breakdown.

I'm slightly behind pace in terms of hours and rake paid. With just over $3700 paid and I should be just about $4100 (and I was trying to get out in front of pace.) I also think I should have ~29 hours played thus far but I'm only at ~22. I have pushed for more tables though, so I'm not as behind as I otherwise might be considering I took it a little easy the past 2 days.

Screenshots are below, just taken this moment (as will always be the case w/ screenshots ITT.)

Here are a couple fun hands I found during my review

To be fair Dombo had snapped off 2 of my bluffs prior to this during my session. He's a very good player and I respect him a lot. I did give him an all caps GOT HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM but only b/c we're friends. Was especially cool b/c unbeknownst to me Tcarnage was railing and typed a requisite party hat. Was kind of a merge b/c I though he never checks 2x with an Ace I don't chop with or a better hand, and if I jam I could bluff him off a chop a very small % of the time or get called by worse a larger % of the time. A chop is also a smaller part of his range but if he calls worse or folds a chop is open to how he feels about me over-betting at this moment in time. It's fun to get fancy.

This next one is just pure lols. Obv not taking this type of line vs regs due to balance but sometimes it can be a good spot to get cute.

Ty Ty. Play back b/c it's profitable and with an overall strategy that is profitable. Not b/c some guy is insulting your honor. Check the ego, print the money imo.

You inspired today's video with your question! Basically I would focus on learning and getting better and let the money come as a passive result of having good habits (playing, reviewing, studying and improving.) This is an idea I've had to come back to since "working for a living," focusing on results and most of all my own ego were detracting from my poker and my life.

Bit behind pace but not too worried. Happy with how I'm playing and my overall approach, just need to work on my endurance and remember that none of this stuff I enjoy doing (blogging, talking, making videos) has the same credibility if I don't do what I sent out to do. It's important to balance the intangibles with the real world stuff. Always working on that. Here we go, Day 7!

I always was trying to build the number up in my roll by playing out of it slightly and not taking the time to learn the type of play which is most profitable for the stakes I was playing in. This results in frequent depositing just to play! I also like you have a hard time just waking up and sitting down and grinding away all day. I find myself surfing The Chive or watching videos instead of focusing on noticing tendencies and mistakes from my opponents. I am going to try and dedicate myself to only SNG's and play within my bank roll, treat the 3.50 SNG's as I would the Sunday Million. Instead of taking bad spots or peeling very light just because its only a couple dollars if I bust, well those couple dollars adds up pretty quick when you are putting in any decent volume. Once again I appreciate you making the video responding to my question directly, I think you will crush your challenge ahead of schedule because of your amazing mindset to just keep on truckin' when the cards aren't doing you any favors. Take care and I will be following the to its conclusion!

Awesome dude, glad I could help. When I remind you of a concept I remind myself and others too, so it's good for me also to relearn that lesson. It's a tough one!

Lately I've been having to fight the urge to check FB msgs, texts, twitter ect during sessions. It's probably especially hard b/c more of my socializing will be online during this challenge. What I keep telling myself when I start wanting to be distracted is "If your current load of tables isn't enough to keep your attention and you have time for other things, then you can add more tables. Do you wanna add more tables?"

Since I know my brain doesn't want to 20-table all day this usually keeps me in check, and sometimes I do add more tables and it helps with my goal and my hourly.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's today's video. It's Day 9 and it focuses on sharing information in poker; is it good, bad, or breakeven? Also on goal setting and some other concepts. Love to hear feedback anyone who takes the times to watch it.
