Not at all. My ideal of a truly good player is one who is well rounded(good @ hu thru 9 handed), can thrive in soft games, but can also hold his own in very tough games for his limit.

seems like you got that part bout misjudging range right. To anyone whos never played with you this looks standard. however QQ isn't a fistpump vs you like it is vs most. That is unless you 4bet shove Ax, because you think every button 3bet of mine has to be rags.

actually I don't think that your tight preflop strategy is a leak.

just like good2CU said- you excel at game selecting, not tilting(although I have seen it once or twice) and playing well over a lot of tables. very few people can play good over that many tables- this is a huge skill in itself.

good2cu- leatherass can make weird/spewy plays, they are just a bit more random and infrequent than most players.

to the nuthuggers- HU? sorry if I don't think another player is good(I've tried to refrain from posting my true feelings, as I don't want to be too big of a *******). maybe he thinks I suck too, thats ok. This is BBV, we all don't have to be nice. And no, the last thing I am is jealous of someone who pisses in a bottle because it saves him 20 minutes a day of extra playing time.

With all that said I don't think you would currently be one of the biggest winners at the 25/50+ games online. But who cares? There are probaly 10-15 people on the whole internet who making $5/hand+ at NL and they are not able to put in nearly as many hands as you as they have to spend much of their time 2-3 tabling or just sitting around waiting for fish to join.

I don't understand why you are looking for valadation of your play on 2p2. Your style of play, game selection etc. is all about keeping your ego in check and shipping the money. Who cares what other people think of your game who make 1/5th of what they do? If you want to ship the money stick to your game, and if you want their respect start 1-2 tabling and degening it up at the nosebleeds (its a lot more fun anyways).

I have a question for you though. How do you keep up of the movtation to grind the lowstakes? I doubt at this point anymore money is adding to your happiness. I wish I could be a 5/10 grinder but I have a hard time movitating myself to play hands at those stakes when the money is so meaningless to me. I really think there are under a dozen people who make more money at online NL than you do and their swings are stress level are a lot bigger.

Also I'd love to do a bet with you seeing who could make more money in 5/10 in a month, with each of us putting up 20k or so. Would be a lot of fun and moviate me to play 5/10.

never been a g2cu fanboy in the slightest but this was an excellent post.

LA said he needs to sit out a whole orbit during his sessions(prob because he plays so many tables) to take a piss. I figured 2 missed orbits = around 20 minutes.

I don't understand why people who think they're better than you get pissed off that you make so much money. Your work ethic is very impressive and you probably deserve the success you've had in poker more than anyone I know. Congrats.
