I'm not a grinder or anything and my poker play is sporadic but Jesus wept It's not even fun anymore. I am not very good at hold em so won't ***** about that but I do ok in Omaha and Courcheval and I've made another final table which I failed to close because of * Cough Cough* "Politics". In my Courcheval Hi Lo game I was chip leader pre final table all cosy and snug. Now the person in second place was a little bit behind me in chips but showed no fear in dealing with me near the bubble. I had this player hounding me forever but it was this one hand that shows how it went for me with this guy.

This was the worst one for me snapping off with a 5 7 lol (yes he has a flush but Q high on paired board considering my turn bet wtf). He literally called me every time with some random hand that just happend to catch high end or low end. There was another hand where I finally had nut low and a straight but he had higher straight go figure. Anyways I need to do a full review but I must have had over 20 hands I split with him which is so crazy considering I couldn't scoop him on one pot. I ended up just fading 3 handed but luckily he bust the player in second place however he had a huge lead and still I missed scoops. This is what bothered me the actually odds of him chopping me at every showdown over that many hands must be huge. When I made marginal calls he scooped me at showdown more often than I'd chop but that wasn't often because I am selective. I then had to drip away because of check folds.

This one single game has ruined my mindset on poker and I'm not talking out of my pocket because the prize pool was pennies. I just want to win games for my stats but I can't beat these absolute beasts of the game. I literally punched myself in the face cos I'm pissed at myself for writing this as I'm reliving the rage. Well I guess It's time to go have a play with my sausage and squeeze my nuts till the juice comes out. Peace
