i don't know the particular details of this scandal, but there is no way that 1k can compensate for your wrongdoings. besides, i'm certain you have kept some proceeds even if it's not much (assuming any amount of money that has made its way to your pocket that is over 1k).

also, as habits are re-occurring, you obv have another account (if you are not playing elsewhere).

wouldn't take a criminologist to understand that my assumptions are right more often than not. curious, would you care to dispute/agree with my statement? comment, perhaps, on whether you did keep some proceeds or have another account?

also, i do agree that poverty stricken victims would be better off with the money than cancer patients, but i suppose it would be different to someone who has lost their parents or many around them due to cancer. i think the more important criteria as to choosing the appropriate charity would be a way to verify that the dollars have made a difference.

I do not expect you to begin to trust me the slightest, but I was happy to see that you have accepted that I am , to some degree, I am trying to make up for what I had done.

I know you have had strong feelings about my flawed character, whether or not I can ever feel guilty or if I am a cold heartless person. I want to say that I do and I'm not. I'm an egomaniac, selfish person, sure, but it really hurt me to realize how stupid I was and how lonely it can be, and I really appreciate your sentiment, and I will try my best to keep out of everyones way, and, if I can, do more good for the world and people around me.

The second message is sent roughly half an hour ago; according to 2+2 he was viewing a thread. Some minutes after, it said that he was checking his private messaging, presumably he saw my message. He is now offline, despite having read my message and even though all I wanted was a "Got your message, been busy, will sort it out when I have time".

I would like a 2+2 moderator or trusted individual to please volunteer to take the 1k from jalex since he is obviously either very busy or not very motivated in sorting out the funds. If on the 27th no significant progress is made in reaching a decision I would like that escrow to donate the entire 1k to Oxfam, which so far is a charity that has not been met with any objections, and post a receipt or screenshot, and thus close the matter.

I have offered to give out 1k from my own earnings, and have no intentions of taking it back through loopholes or whatever, but I think the least that could be promised me is that my funds goes smoothly to deserving hands.

Please note that I am NOT trying to attack Jalex, I am sure he is very busy and 1k is a measly sum for him, it is just that I sent my money on the 26th/27th or so, and I'd also sent a message on the 10th, meaning that it's been two weeks and a half since my last message and 3weeks+ since I sent the funds, and I have heard NO WORD as to what is happening with it.

As I have said I gave my money thinking that it would go to a useful cause. That this is at least a good thing is something that I hope nobody disagrees with. It is not my business whether people forgive me or believe that I have changed, but what I SHOULD have a say is that when a trusted person volunteers to take my money and give it to charity, he actually does so and lets me know instead of ignoring my messages.

If I had waited a few days before sending money to Jalex when he asked me to do so, I would have been called shady and ingenuous and so on. If HE takes 3weeks+ and still refuses to tell me what's happening with the money, it's completely fine and I am the one in the wrong?
