Hi Guys,

I've recently decided to try and build a bankroll by grinding Hyper STT. I feel like I've got an edge on most players in these games, every table usually has 1 or 2 gamblers just punting off with any two cards for fun and I feel like I've got a good grasp on ICM, Hand Ranges, BB, Shove/Fold spots etc.

I'm just struggling to handle the downswings/negative variance. I understand that it's a part of the game but I'm getting completely ****ed recently after what seems like a good few weeks of hard work, just today i had a 23 BI downswing in 24 games. I lost 8 flips in a row, and feel like I only fade 3 outers 50% of the time. Its really ****ing with my confidence and attitude. I sometimes just sit there after being ****ed over and over again and wonder why I even bother with this game.

Hoping anyone who plays these cancerous tournaments has any advice, or if anyone has other methods of building a bank roll on stars (other game suggestions) because these are really doing my head in big time
