Usually, deuces never loses, but against what opponent held, you could do nothing.

Should have eaten it preflop, as played it's an easy eat on the river.

Grunch. Shoving with 22 preflop is questionable. You need to carefully examine opponent's range before deciding if this is profitable, because you want to have a lot of fold equity. If described Villain is capable of calling with {DICK} in his range, he's calling too wide for the shove to be profitable. I'd probably fold pre if this guy is capable of calling with DICK.
