Been on quite a downswing. Can't seem to win when I'm ahead recently. Although I've grown used to the swings, as long as I made the right move I don't get too bent out of shape.. but I think since this was a set of aces it stung a bit.

Hero AA utg with 100bb.

Hero raise to 3.5bb, Villain in MP 3bets to 6bb, folds to hero who 4bets to 17bb, villain calls.

Flop AQ6. Hero checks (villain has been very agro), villain bets 17bb, hero raise to 44b. Villain calls.

Turn 3, Hero shoves, villain calls.

River T. Hero shows, villain shows 89 for the flush.

I'd normally bet this flop but villain has been crazy agro and I was pretty sure he would bet. Not sure if this raise was odd, maybe just shove here esp with the agro villain but it seems strange to shove 82bb into a 50bb pot. My raise with his call made the pot 125bb and we only have 40bb behind or so and it made it awkward. He had great odds to call so I may have messed this hand up with my sizing.. but either way this guy was most likely calling anything thrown at him. A call here could be good to induce more aggression but idk.

3 people doubled up off of him. This was his 4th buy in. So of course I wait for my moment and BINGO we got it.. then RIP. After being card dead for an hour he left before I got another opportunity.

I mostly just needed to vent somewhere lol.

Some next level thinking there OP, that shove on the turn really fooled him.
