In the thread "degen stories", many people start with something like "i deposited $50-$100, degened it up to $1500"My question: what are the most notable sites with -ev games? And what do you actually do to "degen it up" Roulette flips? Blackjack?

You degen it up by using zero bankroll management with risk of going broke highly likely, hence being a degenerate.

For example, if you want to "degen it up" you might deposit $500 and buy into a PLO game for $500, shortstacking obviously.

And run the 500 up to 3k....

Then take the 3k and buy in to 3 tables of 1000NL and run it up to 8k.....

That's typically how degens do it... Wouldn't advise it though bro.

Put it all on black! Double up, do it again, now you have tripled your roll, BI to the highest game possible short stacked, atleast double your BI, or triple it and you have done everything to degen up a roll =] Have fun

This. I remember going into Fallsview Niagara with $200 in my pocket, put $200 on black it hit 4 times in a row with me constantly pressing my original bet.

200 > 400
400 > 800
800 > 1600
1600 > 3200

In 20 minutes I had ran $200 into $3.2k. Not the biggest degen but I pocketed 2300 and sat into 5-10NL with a grand. Played for a few hours ran like god and racked up 7200. Leaving the casino at 3am with 9.5k off $200.

then win back $1000
then lose a further $1200
then buy 3 pair of Nike roshe run mens shoes in different colours to cool off

Then wake up thinking those shoes cost $600 each instead of my usual £70 lol

Roulette is the best way, probably followed by playing under-rolled PLO deep/ante. Wouldn't recommend PLO Zoom as it is very nitty and would not recommend blackjack.

I guess the major part would have to be that you neglect any kind of bankroll management, i.e. you have $50 in your account and you sit at PLO50 instantly. Lose a flip and you´re busto, win a flip or five and you´ve just increased your bankroll by x00 %. You obviously move up constanly while you´re doing this so you have to seriously dodge the odds to not go busto. That´s the only way those "turned $50 into $10k in a day" stories can work. You will obviously end in bustoville either way. I only did this once and I will never forget it. I put $50 into Betandwin, just made ******ed bets over two days or so and at one point I peaked at $10k (that´s what happens when you start betting $500 on red or black with a $2k bankroll lmao). Needless to say, I did go busto in the end. You can only dodge EV for so long. The more you make -EV bets, the higher you chance of going busto.
