Bring your phone charged and record conversations with your Mum. Talk to her about what she was like as a girl, who she is as a woman outside of being a mother. Ask her about her favorite stories you don’t know about. These are memories and family stories you can share with your kid so they can get to know her, even if she never gets to really know them.
