97% favourite on the flop. Running 9s to beat me. Hits them, thats why i posted. I got him committed when i was 95% favourite on the turn and my line is being criticised. Nice.

Spike, thanks for some constructive feedback man. Nice to see some sanity.

at no point anywhere in this hand did he bet 1/4 of villains stack, not that it would be a good bet either way

Raise more prefop. Bet the pot on the flop. Bet the pot on the turn. Ship in any remaining chips on the river.

You are missing so much value because of times like these when you get sucked out on. You don't realize that it isn't these hands that are killing your ability to be a decent poker player, it is the hands where you won less than you should.

so if he had J10dd we wouldn't see this post because your flop raise would be ignorant because you give him great odds to call with a FD.

try reading some strat on this forum and reevaluate your line

You dont realize that he has a $2.50 stack and I sized my bet around that. Also whats your logic for raising more than 4xBB when there are no limpers on board?

Do you actually think a fish cares if you are raising 30 more cents or not? It is not going to sucker him into calling or folding.

you do realize hes more pot committed when you raise more. and also you are only posting this thread because he had A9. if he had J10 of diamonds then your play sucks and you gave great odds to him.

in other words try to play against a hand range rather then against the one hand he had at showdown.

fish have no conception of well im going to be more pot committed if i call this bet or anything along those lines whatsoever either way. hell no one thinks that way who is a good player.

and to think i charge for this ****

If you dont want criticism, and are going to get all defensive, just dont post.

That being said, the only street you didnt misplay the hand on was preflop.

You raised too little on the flop, bet too little on the turn, and then bet again on the river when all you had was one pair on a draw heavy board, when your opponent called your reraise on the flop and cold called on the turn!

You have to give your opponent credit for a hand by the river, you didnt, just consider yourself lucky you didnt get reraised on the end.

Did your opponent get lucky? Yes. But.....

If you arent willing to admit OR able to see how you made mistakes in this hand, poker probably isnt for you, and definitely not no limit.
