I went. I just quit my final year without a degree, for reasons that only made sense to me at the time.

I was kinda tired of being in school at that time as well, but my father took that **** way too serious. He went out and bought the same books that I had, and ****ing put me through exams daily for 3 years. He went through all of my math/physics/chemistry papers before I turned them in, and often made me do them better.

when i went to college i went to my adviser and said "I want to study philosophy but am concerned about making money upon graduation. What degree yields the highest paying job right now?" I was told finance. So thats what i did.

I would like to go back and ***** slap that stupid **** for his recommendation. Philo would have been great, or he could have pulled his head out of his ass and said Comp Sci

****ing murica has turned schools into a bureaucratic mess. whole system should be privatized to ensure better education for the future of our country.

I also took 4 years off between hs and college and worked construction, so when i went to school i had already been living on my own for 4 years and was not some sniveling little **** living off mo,,y and daddy.

I wasn't living at home either when I went to uni, if that's what you're referring to, punk! I was spending my parents money though, but that's because they are rich.

I was some sniveling little **** living off the state thanks to European socialism. I'm still paying the state some back. Privatized school systems are a complete ****, leading to oligopolies.
In HK you can send your kids to the public school where they meet all Cantonese native speakers or to international private high schools, e.g. the German school, tuition fees 30k US per year per kid, 100k US to enroll your kid. Thanks Obama.
Spoiler:
No, the quality of the school isn't really any better than in socialist Europe

In Denmark all education is free. On top if that you get ~75% of your rent/electricity/heat etc. covered by the state and you get ~$1500 in spending money pr. month + you are free to take a part time job while in school without deduction. Ofc the state will get all that back when you get a well paid job, and have to pay over half your salary in taxes for the rest of your life. They are just making a smart long-term investment, punks!

You also get taxed 91% of your income.

Ooops I didn't read the rest of your post.

i was not referring to you, but apparently you are also a narcissist as well as a ****. So you were living in a residence your parents paid for, what a cuck.

you can either decide where to spend your money, or give it to the government and let bureaucrats decide where it should be spent. I know which i prefer

The point of the story was, you don't really have a choice, and the schools know this, that's why they can charge sky high fees for poor to average services. But yeah this leads to politarding.

Stealth mode for now, close to post 6666. Just got a ****load of extra work, don't have the time for an AMA this week, maybe next week.
