So I deposited the minimum on Ignition and was able to make a profit. I cashed out and ended up putting in another minimum deposit and lost it quickly over a few days on some bad bad beats (I understand it's bad bankroll management to do the minimum but I was curious what would happen).

I like ignition and was planning on making a decent sized deposit to see what I can do, but I'm nervous I'll lose it all cause I cashed out...

Honestly do you all think I should find a different place to deposit my money?

"but I'm nervous I'll lose it all cause I cashed out..."

I don't know what this means.

"I cashed out and ended up putting in another minimum deposit and lost it quickly over a few days on some bad bad beats (I understand it's bad bankroll management to do the minimum but I was curious what would happen)."

TBH I'm not quite sure what this means either. I guess its bad bankroll management to be too nitty or whatever, there's nothing inherently wrong with putting a small amount of money on a website and losing it though AFAIK.

Just focus on playing your best game, dont worry so much about the amount you deposited before

I'm worried about the whole "cash out curse" rigged thing. Before I cashed out I was winning a lot of SnGs and after I cashed I couldn't win anything. I can't remember specific hands but most of the losses were on bad suck outs.

I like Ignition but it wouldn't be fun depositing, let's say $100, and watching it all go away because "the casino wants the money back that I cashed out". Honestly I wasn't playing any different than I was before I took the money out and all of a sudden I'm not winning at all.

I agree that it can be ok and even fun to deposit a nominal amount and just see what happens. As for proper BRM and/or getting over this fear of losing your profits I'd suggest two things.

One, work on the mental game. I think one thing that really always I struggled with online vs live is that live we leave each session with a tangible proof of how we did (I.e. chips and cash from the cage), but online we keep it online and so it can feel a bit like we never quite "lock in" the profit because it's not in hand after a session. And accepting that we will lose hours of hard work in one hand quite often online.

Two. If it makes you feels better, keep a "roll" offline in like an interest bearing checking/savings account and deposit periodically (but keep tabs on what that total roll amount is for BRM). Bonus is you can take advantage of reload bonuses more, you can earn interest on your roll, and if the site goes poof or there's banking issues you have some of it offline. But on a site ignition with it's high deposit fees, you might be better off depositing 15-20 buy ins for the level you wanna play and keep them on there and keep some extra offline.

It would be really odd for it to be rigged, where is Ignition settled? It shares the pool with Bodog?

Make sure you play some blackjack when you are winning. Just keep dumping a good portion on your winnings into it and you'll be rewarded. Just the other day I was playing in a big MTT. I was pretty deep and had $400 in my account. Down to two tables I opened up blackjack on the side and began firing $50 bets. Guess who started to run good? Thats right. I did and I took down that MTT.

Blackjack is also very helpful when you lose four buyins quickly playing PLO as its very easy to recoup within minutes.

There is no such thing as a cash out curse that is only superstition. If you are feeling uncertain of what to do with your money you can DM me and I can help you out. Ignition might not be the best place for you.
