Missed this bump because I'm not on the forums as much any more.

He paid $1,000 last month, so $6,000 sent back total. He's in contact now which is good and he's listening to me in terms of what games to play, BRM, shot taking, etc. I am still optimistic about getting the money back. It may take a while but I think it will happen. He is still an extremely talented player and if he listens to me I think he can make some money. Also, from this experience, going to school, and just getting older / maturing, I think Rossa has put a lot of his tilt and degen tendencies behind him. Overall, the status of this situation is about as good as I could have hoped for considering everything that happened.

glad to hear it man. I second meow about hoping for you to still blog a bit. I always found your story very interesting as obviously you do a lot of work in a lot of different areas and are clearly not very lazy which is pretty great to see in the poker world. gl with everything.

rossa atleast seems like he mite be a good conman. he built up trust over time etc. dont feel tooooo bad that u got scammed. there were tell tale signs though imo.

Rossa85 has sent me $17,000 more this month, which completely pays off his debt. We are all very happy to put this behind us.

Also I'd like to say thanks again for all the people who tried to help initially with providing information, providing advice, the mods who helped, and even those who offered to find him and beat the money out of him, lol. There were a lot of you who helped and it is much appreciated.

He basically just said that he made a lot of bad choices and it took him a while to realize it. I didn't ask what he was thinking or what actually happened.
