It was a day like any other... I was posting hands to 2+2 forum and trying to improve my play. I enjoy getting advice on what is arguably the best poker forum in the world.

This complete douchebag named KingFish starts insulting me every chance he gets. He is obviously an average poker player at best, and the type of awful sod that gets enjoyment from putting others down.

If any of you know me, you know that I have a bad temper. I lose self control fast, if I lose a big hand I have been known to smash holes in my wall or door...

RagingBull lost it!!! The first thing that came to my mind was, "I would love to bust this ****** KingFish". I began to type as if controlled by an outside force:

"I will play you anytime, anywhere, headsup, etc..."

RagingBull clicks POST without thinking.

The rest is history folks... when I came to my senses, I realized that I had made a challenge that I did not want. I don't want to play 2+2 forum players for money, period. Its just bad business. And I hate headsup play, I am a SNG specialist basically. And I don't like to risk my entire bankroll in one game.

Despite it being a little rough around the edges, this goes down as a genuine apology in my book. I think it's time that people stopped beating RagingBull up about this. He probably feels pretty silly now and won't be throwing down any challenges for a while. We've all done stupid things. Let him move on and enjoy the forum. Don't make him leave - this is a cool forum and we're all here because we love poker. Remember that this is a community.
